TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT FOR GRANT FUNDS TO ACQUIRE LAND FOR THE
BALCONES CANYONLANDS PRESERVE (BCP) IN THE TRANSPORTATION AND NATURAL RESOURCES
DEPARTMENT. THE APPLICATION IS FOR $3.510 MILLION IN ADDITIONAL FEDERAL FUNDS
AND HAS AN UP TO $1.170 MILLION DOLLAR MATCH REQUIREMENT THAT IS ANTICIPATED
TO BE MET BY THE BCP TAX INCREMENT FINANCING AND MITIGATION FEES WHEN THE
FUNDS ARE NEEDED.
C. GRANT APPLICATION TO THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE
FOR THE 2006 JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT. THIS GRANT PROVIDES FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE
OF EQUIPMENT FOR THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE.
D. GRANT CONTRACT WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS FOR
THE SENIORS AND VOLUNTEERS FOR CHILDHOOD IMMUNIZATION GRANT PROGRAM IN HEALTH
