  2. DISCONTINUE THE PREREQUISITE OF A SPOUSE RESIDING WITH THE EMPLOYEE TO BE ELIGIBLE AS A DEPENDENT AND NO LONGER REQUIRE THE USE OF A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE TO DOCUMENT A SPOUSE’S RESIDENCE IN A MARRIAGE RECOGNIZED BY STATE LAW; AND
  3. DIRECT STAFF TO IMPLEMENT ONE OF THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS:

    1) NOTIFY EMPLOYEES OF A 10- DAY RECONCILIATION PERIOD TO MEET ALL AUDIT REQUIREMENTS TO AVOID THEIR DEPENDENTS RETROACTIVE TERMINATION BACK TO OCTOBER 1, 2010. REMOVE ANY DEPENDENTS FOR WHICH DOCUMENTATION HAS NOT BEEN SUPPLIED EFFECTIVE OCT. 1, 2010. CLAIMS PAID AFTER OCTOBER 1, 2010 WILL BE RECOVERED BY THE FUND AND BECOME THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE EMPLOYEE.
