26, consider and take appropriate action on Travis County reappointment to the Austin-Travis County Integral Care Board of Trustees: a, adopt procedure and timetable for reappointment process; and b, application packet for distribution to interested parties.
Mr. Eckstein?
>> Good morning, judge.
>> Good morning.
>> Members of the court.
>> As you know, last week you issued a call for a -- for an -- for applications for the Austin/Travis County integral care board of trustees.
The court has an appointment.
We've had an appointee, richard hopkins who has served on the atcic board for several years under the court's policies that it adopted last March.
We have to -- we have to call for applications even though mr. Hopkins indicated his interest in continuing.
The court issued that call last week.
These are really the backup documents for that call, which we will distribute and our goal is to put those out on the county's website to send those to integral care and ask them to distribute it through their networks to send it to you all, members of the court and have you distribute it to anybody interested.
We will, of course, follow up directly with mr. Hopkins to make sure that he has a copy of the packet to see if he's interesting in applying again.
At this point we would need you to formally adopt this packet that goes along with the call you issued last week.
>>
>> [indiscernible] county website, did you say?
>> Still working it out with the county website people, but it would be something that would be one of those items that you see when you first go to the website.
Just as a way to get the word out into our communities.
We're also going to work with integral care to have them put the word out in the community.
>> So you are working with that currently?
>> Yes, sir.
>> Okay.
>> So you need approval of the attachments.
A and b?
>> Yes, sir.
>> Move approval.
>> Second.
>> Discussion on the motion?
Motions to approve the -- motion to approve the --
>> The packet of materials that goes along with your call from last week and the time table that you have, which would have dead line for applications in early September and then -- or late August, early September, then you all reviewing them and if you decide that you want to do interviews, you would do those at a work session on the 27th, I believe.
>> Discussion?
All in favor?
That passes by unanimous vote.
Thank you very much.
>> Thank you.

July 3, 2012: Travis County Launches New Video Playback System
Our new streaming video system uses a single video clip for each session and items are linked to specific locations on that clip. Some browsers and mobile devices do not recognize the location information and display the entire clip. If this happens the "start time" will help you find your item's video within the larger clip.
If you encounter playback issues check out our video playback help page. If you still encounter problems let us know.
On July 3rd, 2012, Travis County began leveraging free resources by posting Commissioners Court meetings on Youtube. Previously every video clip was edited separately and hosted on the county's video server. The old system also required RealPlayer to view the video clips.
The new systems save time and resources -- and that saves taxpayer dollars!
