The consent items are next.
Posted are c 1 and c 2.
Any issues with any of them or either?
With let's consider adding the following items to the consent motion and I will list quite a few items. If anyone would like for us to discuss separately any of the items I'm about to list, please say so as I call out the number of the item.
Number 7, 8 a and b, 12.

>> I'm sorry.

>> Beg pardon?

>> I'd like to speak about 8 b, if you don't mind.

>> Let's hear it right now.

>> Okay.
Again, I'm ronnie reeferseed, and talking about 8 b that says -- it's about the new application for the U.S. Health and Human Services for Child and Families to fund the Travis County for children affected by substance abuse in Travis County.
It's a huge problem, obviously, but I'm afraid the child and the -- what is it, c.b.s.
Or whatever it's called is very much a polluted thing.
It's yet another back door scheme to already mandate more abuse.
These people are abusing children.
So we're in effect paying for people to abuse children.
And I wish we would all really follow through on the facts on how the so-called professionals.
That's really a whole bunch of pedophiles.
And I'm in favor of the general idea we want to take care of children, but we just need to -- even the great state of Texas has a big problem with this group of people.
So I just wanted to make a tiny comment about that.

>> Thank you, mr. Reeferseed.
Any court member want us to pull 8 b?
8 a and b will stay on the consent motion.
Number 12, 13, 17, 18 a and b, 19 a and b.
The three items we had public hearings on, 20, 21 and 22.

>> I'm sorry.
We already had fluoride.
I already made that -- thank you.

>> Thank you, mr. Reeferseed.
23, 24 a and b, 25, 28.

>> I do have a question about that, sir.

>> About which one?

>> About 28.

>> Okay.

>> Briefly I was just wondering, the first time I've heard of this event or activity and how did we come up with these people and why are they chosen to -- for advisory committee.

>> It's not the first time.
I'm late in making my appointments to this committee.

>> Oh, okay.
So those are just late appointments.
All right.

>> Each court members gets three appointments.

>> That's right.

>> You don't like Commissioner Huber's appointments?

>> Talk to her about it, right?
I didn't know --

>> Thank you for your input.
28 remains on the consent motion.

>> Yes.

>> Those are the ones we recommend for the adding to the consent motion.

>> Move approval of consent agenda.

>> Second.

>> Any discussion on the motion?
All in favor?
That passes by unanimous vote.

July 3, 2012: Travis County Launches New Video Playback System

Our new streaming video system uses a single video clip for each session and items are linked to specific locations on that clip. Some browsers and mobile devices do not recognize the location information and display the entire clip. If this happens the "start time" will help you find your item's video within the larger clip.

If you encounter playback issues check out our video playback help page. If you still encounter problems let us know.

On July 3rd, 2012, Travis County began leveraging free resources by posting Commissioners Court meetings on Youtube. Previously every video clip was edited separately and hosted on the county's video server. The old system also required RealPlayer to view the video clips.

The new systems save time and resources -- and that saves taxpayer dollars!
