Number 4 is a public hearing to receive comments regarding the Proposed Program Year 2012 Action Plan and Substantial Amendments to the 2011-2013 Consolidated Plans including the proposed usage of Community Development Block Grant funds available through H.U.D.
We have previously received quite a bit of background.

>> Yes, have you.

>> However, it may be good to be reminded of the proposed action by the court.

>> Christy moffett, Travis County health and human services.
And I have alba with me in case we need translation services.
We've been notified that might be a possibility.
So today we are having a public hearing regarding the proposed projects for program year 2012 which are street improvements to lake oca estates, home rehabilitation, which is home repair, public services, social work services that target the unincorporatedville areas in the village of webberville, public housing who feel like they've had discrimination move through the process to get that discrimination complaint looked at and finally the cdbg administration and planning.
Additionally we are asking a substantial amendment to reallocate project savings from a variety of projects to fund additional home rehabilitation as well as to amend our consolidated plan to include the village of webberville in our cdbg service area.
And also as a part of that substantial amendment we are requesting to delete from the py 2009 action plan the youth and family assessment center flex fund project as it is been progressing without these funds just fine.
So those are the actions that we're requesting comment on today.
This is the last public hearing with relation to this prior to coming back to court for approval.
There is, however, a continued comment period until July 17th at 5:00 p.m.
Where we can accept written comments at cdbg@travis.texas.texas or p.o.
Box in Austin.
Or if you were to have any more questions contact me at 854-3460.

July 3, 2012: Travis County Launches New Video Playback System

Our new streaming video system uses a single video clip for each session and items are linked to specific locations on that clip. Some browsers and mobile devices do not recognize the location information and display the entire clip. If this happens the "start time" will help you find your item's video within the larger clip.

If you encounter playback issues check out our video playback help page. If you still encounter problems let us know.

On July 3rd, 2012, Travis County began leveraging free resources by posting Commissioners Court meetings on Youtube. Previously every video clip was edited separately and hosted on the county's video server. The old system also required RealPlayer to view the video clips.

The new systems save time and resources -- and that saves taxpayer dollars!
