Number 2 is to receive public comment regarding a request to close Old Lockhart Highway between Thaxton Road and Carl Road for culvert replacement beginning July 18, 2012, through August 17, 2012 or until construction is completed in Precinct 4.

To temporarily close a portion of old lockhart so that we can replace a culvert in need of replacement.
We would need to remove the existing culvert and then replace it with a new one and that process requires that we close down the road or a segment of it to through traffic.
In your backup under item 21 you will find a map of the area.
It will result in a five mile detour for folks who need to get around the site.
We did post notice on site and you'll see photographs of those postings in your backup.
I'm not aware of any persons calling in to comment on this but david and I are here to answer your questions.
