Ms. Porter, I believe that we have come to executive session, haven't we?

under the consultation with attorney exception.
it is to consider and take appropriate action on revisions to chapter one of the Travis County code, Commissioners court rules of procedure.
19.
consider and take appropriate action on economic development agreement with project hudson.
this will be under the economic development negotiations exception.
20.
receive legal briefing and take appropriate action regarding Travis County involvement in legal action objecting to congressional redistricting by the Texas legislature.
consultation with attorney.
and our fourth and final item will be number a 3.
a3.
consider and take appropriate action regarding acquisition of real property owned by the housing authority of Travis County.
consultation with attorney and real property exceptions to the open meetings act.

>> we have just returned from executive session where we have announced the items -- where we have discussed the items that we announced.
Commissioner Eckhardt had to run to a family emergency.
and we did not discuss 18.
we'll have that back on the agenda next week for discussion.
we did discuss 19, matter involving request for economic development agreement with project hudson.
I move that we authorize the county judge to sign a letter indicating Travis County's interest and other specific terms that are similar to the terms agreed to by the city manager and his staff.
and that we send to the requesting entity a letter of support close to simultaneously with the city of Austin.

>> and we did receive the city of Austin's draft letter, so we share that with you.

>> are they sending that this week?

>> yes.
the intention is to send it this week.

>> and the county judge be authorized to do the same with Travis County.

>> second.

>> that was seconded by Commissioner Huber.
discussion on the motion?
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
we did discuss item number 20.
it is proceeding through the court system.
we were told that the next action is actually two weeks from today.
so we'll have it back on the 21st of February?
that's what we'll do.
21st of February, 2012 we'll have 20 back on.
we also discussed item a-3, the matter involving the potential acquisition of real property currently owned by the housing authority of Travis County.
and after that discussion I think we should have it back on the court's agenda next week for further consideration and action.
anything else on that today?
with that I think we're done for the Commissioners' court voting session.

>> move adjourn.

>> second.

>> all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
