Item 17, consider and take appropriate action to revise the schedule for Commissioners Court review and discussion of Travis County Economic Development Policy during a work session on May 17, 2012.
good morning.

this item is really just to adjust the schedule that Commissioners court approved week before last, I believe.
and the idea here would be to -- rather than bringing the draft economic development policy before the subcommittee, since there's already a work session scheduled on the 17th, that would afford the opportunity for some substantive discussion with the entire court and we would propose bringing that on the 17th if the court so desires.

>> it's on the agenda because the court previously formally adopted another schedule.

>> but on may 17th we only had one item.

>> for discussion.
the urban rail item, I think.

>> and that ought to take an hour, hour and a half.
so we should have plenty of time to discuss the draft policy if the draft is available.

so this sounds like a good idea to me and miss brouder, and miss peterson would have agreed had we asked her.
