Now lets call to order the Travis County Housing Finance Corporation one item, 1.
consider and take appropriate action to authorize the corporation's staff to attend novogradac and company's affordable housing tax credit conference in new orleans, louisiana on may 17 and 18, 2012.
some may wonder why we don't go to that conference here in Austin.
ms. Thigpin, there's a reason for that, isn't there.

this conference is always held in new orleans.

>> and we are sending two people to -- to gain maximum coverage.

there are concurrent sessions and most of the sessions directly apply to the business of the corporations and they are also excellent opportunities to -- to meet lenders and other hfc's and other participants including trustees, that sort of thing, that can be very beneficial to the corporation staff.
