Item 27

View captioned video.

27 is to consider and take appropriate action on request to cover travel expenses for election experts.
question, mr. Reeferseed?

>> oh, okay.
my question actually is -- is the first thing is who are these election experts?
you know, and where?
where -- where to -- the expenses, that -- these travel expenses, where do they have to go?
why?
and my question original question was who is -- who -- does that include vote rescue?
and if not, why not?
I don't know of any other citizens more devoted to trying to get ahold of our election system and improve it and they come here, you know, vicki carr and -- and that other person, I'm sorry, that -- you know, they put a whole lot of heart and soul into this at no -- at no benefit to them and they just are concerned about this.
so again my question is who?
would they be one of those election experts or -- or --

>> you have some names for mr. Reeferseed?
ms. Dana debeauvoir?

>> she's one that I would consider on the owe.

>> if you hold on one minute we're going to get the answers for you.
who are these three individuals?
one is -- they are coming here to work free of charge, we agree to pick up their expenses, who are they?

>> professor dan wallick is one of the individuals.
I did not bring their names with me.
josh benelow, nate stark, these are established professionals who have been in the verified voting network and recommended by vicki carr for many years.

>> wow, that means a lot.

>> yes.

>> okay.

>> you could have asked me.

>> I'm sorry.

>> I second mr. Reeferseed's motion to approve

>> [laughter]

>> thank you.

>> is my -- my motion seconded by Commissioner Eckhardt?

>> free of charge, mr. Reeferseed.
all that we have to do is get them here to cover meals and hotels.

>> I will love to tell you all about the work that we're doing, I won't take your time today.

>> not today.

>> all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
thank you, ms. County clerk.
