number 12 and then after 12 we will call up the medical examiner's items. 12 consider and take appropriate action on method of sale of Travis County's 2012 debt irrelevant you answer.
-- issuance.

>> good morning, judge, Commissioners.
lad pitillo, financial advisedder.
the item that you took up previously on I guess number 11 with glenn, talk about our sale that we have planned for the 24th of April.
historically Travis County has always soldity new money bonds on a competitive pay simms three years ago when the market we want crazy and within a month or two before our sale, even double a bond were not getting bid and we went to a negotiated basis where we selected an underwriting group and they were able to sell the bonds.
the next couple of years we had the large purchases of the buildings and lots and the taxable co-'s and those sort of things.
all those lent themselves to doing the same type of sale.
in my opinion, we need to now go back.
we don't have the conditions that would -- that would require us to have a -- a negotiated sale for our new money issue and I'm recommending to you that we have a competitive sale.
we've had quite a bit of interest in the last year, as you know, if a lot of underwriting officials in Travis County and I think a competitive sale gives them an opportunity to see how interested they are.

>> questions? Move that we indicate our intention to do a competitive sale.

>> second.

>> of this debt.
any discussion on the motion? Anything else?

>> no, sir.

>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
Commissioner Eckhardt temporarily off the dais.
thank you all very much.
