View captioned video.

Communication is first.
this item gives residents an opportunity to address the court on any matter not in the agenda.
two residents are signed in.
ronnie

>> [indiscernible] is number one.
gus pena is number two.
it is working fine.

>> > thank you, sir.
hot dignity.
I'm ronnie reeferson.
hey, yes, it is happening.
president

>> [indiscernible] is being impeached.
all of you people that dutifully rely on our lame dead, brain dead media never heard about it.
those media banks of eugenics enthusiasts keep lying about Ron paul who is delivering the truth about life, love, liberty and standing.
ronpaul.com is a great place to start online.
also l.e.w.
rockwell.com.
american free press.net.
how about soon-to-be mayor clay defoe.
type in clay dafoe for mayor.
and type in the winter patriot.
imagine our live music capitol can now help lead our nation away from the crony capitalistic criminals with the slimy special deals.
no, we don't have to give away crippling tax breaks to get anyone to locate here.
why? Because every day Saturday taxpayers like you and me have to pay for the deals from the current capitalist cannibals.
soon to be mayor dafoe says no to special kickbacks and schemes to steal from the already smothered tax pay.
no, mr. Mayor leffingwell.
your time has expired.
no more dictated powers.
give more liberty to participate, that is right.
clay dafoe makes room for others with ideas and continually learning about clay dafoe.
go to his website.
claydafoe2012.com.
let's stop the killing.
bring the troops home.
stop the evil burning of islams holy book.
stop the killing.
by lining up behind the only peace candidate ob-gyn.com.
those others will never give us the ability to push for the winning.
there are so many scams, the pressitutes.
I believe he's made a mistake in not being more forthright about it all.
he's winning the hearts and minds, still time for dr. Paul to win the biggie.

>> > thank you.

>> > gus pena, proud native east Austinite.
a couple of items to let the people know about, consumer advocate, two weeks ago, the city council approved hiring a consumer advocate.
why? We already have a rate advisor hired to advise Austin energy on things such as rates, the needs assessment, et cetera.
the reason I mention it here is because this is an avenue -- excuse me -- to educate the community and taxpayers on what kind of mess we're in as far as the budget is concerned.
it will take I don't know how much money, the salary will be.
it is redundancy at its worse.
we have rate advisor doing the same thing.
$800,000 of a mural wall? Waste of taxpayers money.
what we need here are jobs, low-entry level jobs to pay $11 and up with benefits.
you can't compete or sustain a liveability situation for your family with $10 an hour without benefits.
you need/:nn health care benefits, et cetera.
not good.
judge, Commissioners, I know you and city council have summer job program for the youth.
friendly recommendation and suggestion.
please increase the positions, increase the funding.
it is a worthwhile expenditure to keep our youth very occupied during the summer.
we don't want them in gangs.
keep them in organized facilities and other organized jobs, so they can keep out of organized crime.

>> > toll roads.
a 1-lane toll road.
if you travel northbound or southbound mopac, you will see it is heavily congested with traffic.
i-35, 183 east, south, whatever.
also other roadway, 290, 290 west and east, heavily congested.
we need better ideas other than urban rail.
that amount of money on a review, waste of money.

>> > call your veterans advisor.
there is something that is hurting us, causing illness.
call the 800 number.
if you are in the certain military instillations that were contaminated, get your treatment for yourself and your spouse and children if they were alive at that time.

>> >

>> [indiscernible].

>> > do I better job on the budgetary process.
I know you will do that.
thank you.

>> [beep].

>> > those are the two residents that signed in to speak on the citizen communication.
anyone else that didn't sign in.
