View captioned video.

Citizens communication is next.
this item gives residents an opportunity to address any matter, any issue not on the agenda.
will the following three persons please come forth.
gus pena, john kim, david freeman.

>> good morning, grand jury, gus pena again.
two weeks ago there was an editorial in the paper by ed wendler, a local developer and his comments were we need to build more housing for families.
duh.
been saying that for a long time.
but I highly respect mr. Wendler, I know his family very well and I'm glad other people are chiming in the need for multi-family housing.
I will tell you again the greatest beefy have with the nonprofits that are housing homeless -- the homeless, and I respect them and admire their rooms but a lot of them are building s.r.o.s, single-room occupancy.
we need to change the definition of housing the homeless, housing the homeless, period.
that includes families.
and I appreciate that editorial very much and thank you, mr. Wendler.
education.
mentors and tutors needed for students.
how can we set the foundation for our children education-wise and otherwise and we need to also have workforce skills for them.
I recommend at the middle school level so they can prepare to enter the workforce.
city of Austin, Travis County has summer job programs for the youth.
we're requesting increase the availability of positions and also increase of funding for such.
and I know Commissioner Davis, everybody has been a strong proponent for these type of issues and I appreciate you very much because I have a lot of family and friends in your precinct, Commissioner, as other precincts.
they speak highly of you.
we need to train them to be able to get a job.
what kind of future are we building for them that we can't even have affordable housing for them, jobs, economic development.
we need economic development.
Austin energy, Austin energy spent $800,000 for a wall.
they can't fully fund social service agencies, they are spending $800,000 on a wall.
there's a public hearing today or tomorrow, Austin energy's proposed rate hike, it's contentious but I thank god I'm given the health and well-being to be there.
a lot of people say bring these issue up, you got to speak for yourself.
mr. Steve swanson and mr. Robert martinez, you know them very well, Commissioner Gomez, we're working on the dropout prevention issue.
we're working on meeting with president powers and juvenile defenders position or person at Travis County juvenile court to see what we can do to cut down on juvenile issues.
a lot of our children, kids are being incarcerated.
give them a future, give them hope for the future, jobs, economic development, education, train them.
not happening.
mentors and tutors.
the last thing I have to say and I've said it before many times, a society's worth is measured by its treatment of the less fortunate.
thank you very much.
have a good day.

>> thank you.
dr. Kim is next.
is david freeman here?
richard franklin.
I guess he was here on the other item.
anna bolin.
anna bolin.
ronnie reeferseed.
randy pimplier.
mr. Pimplier, are you still here on item 23?

>> yes.

>> we'll have to call you up on that item.

>> okay.

>> you are looking at, I would guess, probably five to ten minutes.

>> okay.

>> dr. Kim.

>> thank you, your honor.
thank you very much.
I real appreciate all of you.
I appreciate the praise american government as the best and Texas, Travis County local government and all of you as the best.
and I have -- also I have -- I enjoyed my privilege to talk to judge and Commissioners and at the time all the time, but I cannot talk any other court judges at all.
this is only one court I can talk to judges and Commissioners.
I really, really appreciate all of you.
this is another item request and I delivered to members of this court and I will not deliver anyone else, only to members of this court.
and so far I requested my -- I request since October 19, 2010, up until day.
one year and four months.
16 months.
but rejected all of them.
I received only denial letter four letters, but that letter -- those letters did not have effect at all so the letter has no legal force.
the letter from the government must have

>> [indiscernible] in the law.
it did not have.
and federal employees liability act,

>> [indiscernible] in the county court has jurisdiction.
and also Texas article -- Texas constitution, article 5, judicial department clearly said county court, Commissioners court, has judicial power.
and also section 15, county and county judge has judicial power here.
clearly says that.
and also I received a letter, the letter says from this court saying that other

>> [indiscernible] court this one.
if other municipal court and you have to enforce the law.
other than this court enforcing law, judicial court decide the law.
and they legislate court, they make the law.
if you said this court is administrative, you have to enforce, but you didn't.
and also without any judicial responsibility, this court wrote to me and you have to know, you have tell me which where has a judicial authority, denied.
and the letter said, however, those at acc charged with evaluating your performance apparently found that below the level required to continue your appointment as professor there.
it's a lie.

>> [buzzer sounding] there is no proof at all.
you have to provide evidence.

>> thank you, dr. Kim.

>> thank you, sir.

>> miss bolin.

>> good morning, anna bolin, Travis County t.n.r.
I have a couple of things I would just quickly like to let the court and the public know about.
the first one is that as part of the state's five-year plan to reduce bacterial loading in gilleland creek, the lcra will be conducting a septic training for homeowners who operate septic systems in this watershed.
the training will be held Tuesday, February 28th, at 6:00 p.m.
at tceq's campus room 201 s.
if anyone would like additional information, there's information available on our Travis County website.
and -- or they could call stacy at 854-7565.
the other thing I'd like to let everyone know is that the drive well reporting form is now on line.
so if you are out in Travis County and you've experienced problems with the water level in your well, you can complete the online form and that will assist us in gathering important information about -- regarding water and the changes in the water in this area.
and this information is important because it allows us to obtain a better understanding of the water supply for Travis County.
so that information -- the well form is on our Travis County website and if you go to the t.n.r.
department, you should see the -- be able to see the form or if you need official information, call us.

>> thank you, miss bolin.
thank you, mr. Reeferseed.

>> thank you, sir.
I'm sorry about the delay.
I'm ronnie reeferseed yodeling yahoo, yes, we have a candidate.
yes, sir, clay dafoe is that articulate young man continuing embarrassing those same old hacks and has beens.
nobody knows how to deal with him.
he exemplifies learned citizenship attending any and all locally relevant meetings with a brisk, informed, pre-determination of what's actually on the agenda, for example.
clay dafoe always knows more than anyone else in the room so those tired old, same old political hacks and has beens don't have a clue what to do.
okay.
let's make up some new rules like, okay, you can come to these public meetings, but by the way usually they have over 150 items on the agenda, but now laughing stock mr. Mayor says concerned citizens can only now address three, three items. Three out of 150 items, people.
god bless you, mr. Mayor, I know it's kind of hard for most of us to keep up, keep track with any three ideas on any three topics, but get out of the way for clay.
clay dafoe is the man who can and will comprehend complex solutions and ideas to help solve some sticky problems. Day dafoe for years whose been a student of austrian commission studying the words of dr. Ron paul.
clay demonstrates a complete grasp and even clay doesn't know everything about every issue but I trust him to come up with innovative ideas.
I challenge each and every concerned voter to examine those 16 out of the last 17 city council meetings that clay attended.
and meanwhile, those tired old, same old political hacks and has beens, they just don't know what to do.
yep, that's right, the power of clay dafoe's mind sinks the others.
let's not miss the opportunity for the young vibrant music capital to live up to her name with our brand spanking new bevy of new ideas for us all to enjoy with that intellectual power house clay dafoe leading the way.
to learn more, go to youtube, the winter patriot.
or call me (512)268-1729.
send me an emailal free pot now at g mail.com and it's happening.
yes, we have the power to bring those tired old same old change of oppression down.

>> [buzzer sounding] tired old scheme ology that never works for anything anymore anywhere.
thank you.
clay dafoe for mayor.

>> thank you, mr. Reeferseed.
those are the persons who signed in to speak under citizens communication.
