consider and take appropriate action on revisions to chapter one of the Travis County code, Commissioners court rules of procedure.
late yesterday, I got from ms. Aldridge a sort of two options for language that covers signs in the Commissioner courtroom.
next week I will ask the court to aadopt one of them.
I don't know that we've had a chance to review those yet.
mr. Reeferseed we will send you a copy of this because you will want to read it before next Tuesday.
although you are not the author of this policy, you are the reason for it.
and -- and but after you receive it, if you would like to chat with me about it, give me a call.
so I hate to do that, but I think we really ought to review it and this policy has been in place in dallas county or similar language.
and some of the other counties, they don't all have policies, but they all do something similar.
so what I would find out is whether the judge can do that unilaterally or whether the Commissioners court is required to do it.
or whether both or appropriate.

my name is ronnie reeferseed.
but I'm just hoping for the sake of the constitution and the oath that we all hopefully y'all -- y'all remember about protecting and defending our -- our sacred or precious u.s.
constitution and the first amendment is kind of at the core of it all, I'm hoping that there's not a rush to -- to get to be like dallas or something -- or something if I understood what you all are saying.
that -- that I don't -- begin I'm ignorant -- again, I'm ignorant as to what the rules are in dallas.
I ran out of dallas decades ago.
so I'm glad to be here, hope we can maintain some kind of civility and understanding of the constitution and its impact on all of our lives.
