Now let's call to order the Travis County housing finance corporation.
item number 1, consider and take appropriate action to approve purchase of a 24-month subscription to novagradac.

I realize this is the second week in a row I'm asking you for money.
I thought I would bring that up.
this is just a two-year subscription which I think $350 is a reasonable price, a monthly publication put out by novagradac, a national accounting firm, that is a leader in the tax credit and affordable housing industry and I think it would be a great educational tool for the corporation to access information.
>> you know we are widely regarded as being a very frugal, really close to be a stingy board.

number 2, consider and take appropriate action to approve using the tenant based rental assistance administrative fund account to purchase a lateral file and two matching office chairs totaling $837.97 plus tax for the new tenant based rental assistance position in health and human services department.
>> and this is for anna pampa, the social worker assigned to the tenant based rental assistance program.
she works out of hhs and she was just transferred -- not really transferred but she was just dedicated as the singular full-time position for this grant program.
and we have approximately $18,000 in our administrative fund for this grant that really needs to be drawn down and so they are asking for -- she's getting a new office and they are asking for some furniture from us to furnish that office.
>> and as far as we know, this is a legitimate expense for the corporation?
>> as far as we know, yes.
like I say, we've got $18,000 in our admin fund that is for things of that nature and we really need to draw down some of this money.
>> all right, and we with think this is okay legally?
>> yes.
yes, it is.

I don't know why we don't automatically have these things available in
