Number 3 is consider and take appropriate action on an order concerning outdoor burning in the unincorporated areas of Travis County.
>> good morning, judge, Commissioners.
herschel lee, Travis County fire marshal.
my recommendation today is not take any action regarding the outdoor burning.
our recent rains, our drought index is remaining low.
speaking to the fire chiefs, permissible for people to do outdoor burning if they do some very cautiously.
with with that in mind in the next four or five days we're expecting winds in the 18 to 25-mile-an-hour range and it's not going to be appropriate to burn on those particular days.
if you do choose to burn outdoors, you need to always notify local fire department before you burn and talk to them, get their permission before you do that.

>> we have had some discussions about looking at getting some legal opinions on things and I've forgotten if we were targeting that for this week or next week.

I'd like to go into executive session on this.
we have some legal considerations on parameters related to the burn ban that I think it would be worthwhile for us to get with some advice and counsel on.

so let's indicate our intention to take number 3 into executive session under the consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act.
