judges.
>> good morning, judge, Commissioners.
>> good morning.
>> thank you for accommodating us this morning.
as you know, the other judges were planning to be here, but their court business has obviously kept them away.
I'm glad that judge bass is joining us as well.
I'm susan steig, justice of the peace for precinct 3, on behalf of my colleagues have presented item 27, which was action required of you by the legislature.
senate bill 61 related to juvenile case managers, was passed last session.
and because Travis County has a juvenile case management program, it requires you to adopt ethical and training standards for those case managers.
we have brought to your attention here what is called the exhibit a, model code of ethics, for juvenile case managers.
and exhibit b, which is the training requirements, which requires both preservice and in-service training.
we used a template that was developed by one of the training centers.
and we've customized it, as we thought appropriate for our program here.
and we present it to you for your approval.
>> should we conclude a very strong consequence or unanimousty by the jp's.
>> I believe so, we circulated it and it was a consequence document.
>> move approval.
>> any more discussion?
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
Commissioner Davis temporarily off the dais.
