>> good afternoon.
let's call to order the Travis County housing finance corporation.
one item, consider and take appropriate action to authorize a release of lien and a payoff statement for a first-time home buyer that received a loan executed in March of 2007.
miss rio, have you been promoted?

>> good afternoon, jessica rio, as you know, andrea is in san antonio and I'm stepping in for her.
basically this is in regards to a short sale.
this is a first-time home buyer that is going to have to scoot a short sale and is requiring this documentation.
I believe andrea sent you an email on the 8th with a little more information.
happy to answer any questions and we would recommend approval.

>> I would move approval, judge.
I think her email answered the questions, there wasn't anything extraordinary about it, just straightforward.

>> did the email of September 8 contain the same information as the letter of December 13?

>> it did contain basically the same information with regard to the $10,000 that we assisted with in downpayment assistance with two forgivable loans.
and it might have gone into a little greater detail, but it was basically the same information.

>> okay.
discussion on the motion?
seconded by Commissioner Huber.

>> so we are getting -- getting repayment that's 2500 of the 10,000?
there was two loans.
the first one was for 8,000 payable to the Texas department of housing and community affairs.
they received, as I understand it, the 2500.
the second was for 2,000 and there will not be repayment of that.

>> okay.

>> so we get zero.

>> yes, sir.

>> but mr. Blunt seemed to think legally we can do it and it makes sense.

>> that is correct.

>> and in the grand scheme much things, it just means $2,000 less in our rotating funds to provide this assistance to folks.

>> that is the way I will understand it, but I will get andrea to confirm that.

>> any more discussion?
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.

>> move we adjourn.

>> second.

>> all in favor?
that carries unanimously also.
