>> 22 is consider and take appropriate action on a request to approve entering into an advance funding agreement with txdot for u.s.
290 west and sh 71 innovative intersection improvements in precinct 3.

>> good morning, carol joseph, t.n.r.
txdot approached us a couple years back to improve the intersection between 71 between joe tanner and 290, rather, joe tanner and fm 1826.
in 2000 we had moneys appropriated with the voter approved bond for construction and/or right-of-way of 290.
and txdot asked for 1.5 million of that money and the city is contributing 4 million and txdot about 660.
to do a new -- fairly new super intersection I had it explained to me totally different, but the idea is to have continuous flow on 290.

>> okay, txdot is contributing how much?

>> $660,000.

>> these are two on system roadways, they are txdot ready, state roads that txdot is contributing 440, the city is contributing 4 million.
that's all I want to know.

>> txdot has ongoing participation in the long-term fix for the y.
for the y.
and so that's moving parallel to this project.
and I'm not sure, but I kind of think the city of Austin actually initiated this effort to -- and we worked with them to try to do a short-term fix which this is.

>> this is part of the bond when we did the 130.

>> the backup says use of funds has been approved by the bond council.

>> there is an email, this went to bond council I guess a year ago and I told carol since it's been a year I'm probably going to send it back through just to make sure all ts are crossed and is are dotted.
money doesn't need to go out until April.

>> what's the bond council?

>> it would be glenn opal.

>> oh, legal counsel.
check your spelling on that.

>> okay.
it got a c-i-l.

>> motion to approve by Commissioner Huber.
I second.
discussion on the motion?
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
when you are on your way out, you make sure all the I's are dotted and t's are crossed.
miss joseph.
