Northwest Travis County Road District Number 3

let's call to order the northwest county road number 3, the golden triangle.
number 1 is a public hearing to receive comments regarding the road district electing to levy and a valor rem tax on goods in transit and deny taxation on goods and transit both provided in tax code section 11.253 effective for the tax year 2012 and all subsequent years.

this passes by unanimous vote.

this public hearing is necessary due to changes that occurred this year in the Texas tax code resulting from senate bill 1 that was enacted and in order to continue the collection of taxes on goods in transit in 2012 and subsequent years, it is necessary to have the public hearing and action order.
