34, consider and take appropriate action on the acquisition of approximately 30 acres of land in northwest Travis County in connection with the balcones canyonlands conservation plan.
this is under the real property exception to the open meetings act.

38, consider and take appropriate action regarding proposal for downtown office building by d 2000, a turn key development could, consultation with attorney and real property exceptions and we do have representative here of mr. we did give staff direction to -- to -- to contact property owners, negotiate further and report back to the court as appropriate.
I don't think we need a motion for that.

item 38 is the matter involving the proposed by 22000 for a downtown office building and real property.
d2000 for the county's use.
we do have the owner here and other representatives.

what is clear is that there is great discrepancy between the appraised value, presented by the county's appraiser and the -- mr. Reed's appraiser.
I -- one is about twice the amount of the other.
I indicate that we -- I move that we indicate our willingness to negotiate further and try to reach a reasonable amount.
