View captioned video.

We have a presenter here on one of the items I told we would call up at 1:30, and that item is number 31, and that is revised, consider and take appropriate action on the resolution authorizing the allegre point, partners, ltd., to submit an application, et cetera in Travis County.

>> andrea shields.
good afternoon.
I have mark with m group developers and I will let him explain to you what he is looking to do today.

>> good afternoon, judge, Commissioners.
I'm with m group development.
we have been working on a project in the county called allegre point for almost a year and it's progressing towards commencement and we have an opportunity at this point to enhance our project with a home application for some low cost financing from tcdhca.
the requirement for to us get the loan is ask for permission to let an application be filed, so we're here today to ask for your permission and file application for a home loan for our project.

>> okay.
so exactly what does that mean when we basically give our approval to the filing of an application with the home loan program?

>> yes, sir, the home funds -- because Travis County does not have home funds per se, the home funds for the county are administered by tdhca so tdcha wants permission of the local body before I make application for those home loans.

>> that's because the units would be located here in Travis County.

>> yes, sir.

>> and what if anything do we lose by giving such authorization?

>> nothing, there's no liability.
it's just permission for me to make application for the home loan.

>> that's where our involvement ends.
you are just giving permission for him to apply.

>> okay.
would we gain our 184 units, some of which are below market.

>> yes, sir, it's an affordable housing project.
it's mixed income.
the majority of it is set aside for 60% and less will be our median income.

>> questions, comments?

>> just one comment.
some neighbors in the wells branch area were concerned with regard to the impact to the Pflugerville school district schools in the area, but I just wanted to make the record that we did receive documentation that the impact would be minimal even if it were not minimal, though, of course the need for affordable housing throughout Travis County and particularly in this quadrant of Travis County is -- is high and I appreciate the quality work that y'all are anticipating doing.

>> thank you.

>> all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.

>> thank you all.

>> thank you very much.
so do we -- I can't recall whether there's any kind of document for us to sign.

>> yes, there's

>> [inaudible] and you have a copy of it.

>> okay.

>> there's one in your backup.

>> I had a copy I think.
I took my file back to my office for safe keeping.
we'll sign it soon.

>> thank you.

>> okay.
