consider and take appropriate action on an order concerning outdoor burning in the unincorporated areas of Travis County.

>> good morning, judge, Commissioners, tony callaway with the Travis County fire marshal's office.
as you mentioned we are under a red flag warning day.
we do want to remind our citizens what that means.
regardless of the burn ban, that means no outdoor burning whatsoever including welding and grinding operations during those time periods.
we're forecast to have wind gusts between 30 and 40 miles an hour with an humidity level dropping below 25% being the key factor there.
our current kdi county average is 604 for the county, we have some areas as high as 705.
the county remains in extreme to exceptional drought category.
as of today Texas forestry service puts us in a very high category for the risk of fire.
no rain forecast unfortunately over the next seven days.
we are recommending a new burn ban from October 18th to November 16th.
