2.
consider and take appropriate action to ratify decision to authorize use of Travis County exposition center to temporarily house horses displaced by recent fires in bastrop county.

>> good morning judge, Commissioners.

>> good morning, facility management and joining me is lloyd evans from the maintenance program and also overseeing operations at exposition center.
from last week the storms that occurred in the region, there was a reason for safe haynes for the animals such as horses.
an offer was put out to allow the use of the exposition center for that purpose.
lloyd can give you details on that but my understanding is we were not taken up on the offer but lloyd, go ahead.

>> Commissioners, as of this date, we have no animals out at the expo center.
on the 6, which was right after labor day, whoa set up 50 stalls just for that purpose.
I have made contact with one of the representatives representing bastrop county that have our phone number and he told me that if they had a requirement, they would let us know, but as of this date, we have gotten no requirements as of yet.

>> okay.
I authorized this because our sheriff's office received and inquired from the bastrop office I understand so I thought it would be appropriate for us to help.
it's available if it's needed.
if not, don't worry about it.
we have taken action, I move we ratify it.

>> second.

>> all those in favor.
this passes by unanimous vote.

>> thank you.
