this morning in a fit of efficiency we skipped a couple of minor items. Number 2, consider and take appropriate action on an order regarding outdoor burning in unincorporated areas of Travis County.

>> based on is a email from the fire marshal yesterday the situation continues to get worse.
the drought index is now up to 775 from 768 the week before.
and so the recommendation is that we leave the current burn ban in place, and in my view we should follow the advice.
and we should be very careful and pray for rain if they burn outside.
