we are announce add minute ago that we would take item number 14ni into executive session and that was the issues related to responses to the civil and family courthouse rfi item, consultation with attorney.
27, consider and take appropriate action on potential acquisition of open space land in precinct three.
real estate exception.
28, consider and take appropriate action on two separate offers to sell largely undeveloped property, comprising about 95 acres and 75 acres of land respectively and located in northeastern sector of Travis County.
consultation with attorney -- no consultation with attorney, just real property.
we announced the postponements of 29 and 30.
and number 31 is to consider and take appropriate action regarding the lease agreement at 700 lavaca with dwyer murphy calvert, llp.
consultation with attorney and real property.
and we have announced three items to discuss.
we'll return to open court before taking any action.

We have returned from executive session where we discussed the following items, we did not discuss 7, that's the matter involving the bill for legal services, we will bring it back next week.
we'll have modified language unless there's a disagreement with it.

we did discuss item no.14 regars to the civil and family courthouse rfi.
I move that we approve the -- the steps recommended by ms. Grimes and the -- and the team of managers and outlined in her one pager to the Commissioners court.

voting against, Commissioner Huber and Gomez, that motion passes by a vote of 3-2.
we discussed item no.
27, the potential acquisition of open space, land in precinct 3, is there a motion?

>> yes, I move that we authorize staff to negotiate an assignment of an option to purchase from the nature conservancy of Travis County to Travis County for approximately 800-acres of open space parkland on the pedernales river.

show Commissioners Gomez, Huber, Davis and Eckhardt voting in favor.
voting against nobody, abstaining, the county judge.
that passes by a vote of 4-0-1.
28 is the matter involving the offer to sell undeveloped property in northeastern section of Travis County.

the final item was a matter in 31.
the lease agreement at 700 lavaca with the -- with the calvert law firm.
I move that we authorize the county attorney's office and facilities to -- to communicate to lessee the county's willingness to -- to split the amount that would be owed during the rest of the contract period from September 15th through the end by 50 percent with the county absorbing 50% of the hit and mr. Calvert absorbing 50%.
