2 is consider and take appropriate action on an order concerning outdoor burning in the unincorporated areas of Travis County.
hope and pray as we might, the drought conditions really have gotten worse rather than better and our fire marshal says the drought index is 730 as of yesterday and continuing to rise.
so I recommend that we follow the fire marshal's recommendation and take no action which moons we will leave the burn ban in place.
and it will be in place until August 24th unless this court takes action to lift it.
