Now let's call to order the Travis County house howsing finance corporation, item 1, approve setting a public hearing on July 26, 2011 to receive comments regarding a proposed reissuance of tax-exempt bonds for the benefit of metropolis apartment project, a 308 unit multi-family residential development located at 2200 south pleasant valley road.
and this is simply to set the public hearing.
normally we have the public hearings posted under the Commissioners' court plus the corporation, don't we?

>> I think we did.

>> like on July 26th is what I have in mind.
so I think we probably ought to do that.
move approval.

>> second.

>> discussion?
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
two is to consider and take appropriate action on approve request from american village communities to reorganize bonds issued for metropolis apartments.
and why is it that I think 1 and 2 are entwined?

>> I'm not familiar with these at all.

>> there was some movement on the negotiations, I believe, for the reorganization, so we might want to have andrea come and explain that to us.
she's over there.

>> is she over there?

>> she's not.

>> we may have to do it next week then and make sure we have her here.

>> I think there may have been a time issue with getting it done.

>> she dropped that off expecting to come after lunch, I think.

>> I think there may have been a time issue with getting this resolved.

>> I'm sorry?

>> I think there's a timing issue in getting it resolved too and I'm okay with the proposed revision to the agreement.
if we feel like we need to act today.
since I was the one that delayed it the first time.

>> then I move approval of the reorganization as it has been negotiated over the last week.

>> second.

>> I'm still trying to figure out what the difference is here.
or is it big enough to matter?

>> I think that it was --

>> the sale -- more money from the sale of the property in the future.
50,000 additional.

>> okay.
motion and a second to approve.
any more discussion?
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.

>> move adjourn.

>> second.

>> all in favor?
that carries unanimously also.
and think about the scheduling matter, whether we ought to try to have a work session on the Travis County redistricting.
it dawned on me in the wee, wee hours of the morning when I couldn't sleep that that may be beneficial.
and I would think that we could have a lively discussion if we did not televise the meeting, but if it's posted as open so those interested enough to want to observe would be able to come to the Commissioners' court, but a non-televised work session I think would be beneficial and we don't have to decide right now, but let's just think about that.
and based on some conversations that we had in court.
and if we could get some outline of exactly what we think the issues are as to each precinct with a list of recommendations, we could get all the facts, relevant facts, discuss them and during the work session we wouldn't take any action, but we could leave there, mull over whatever the discussions were and then be more prepared to act during the voting session.

>> I think it's a good idea, provided the whole court can be at the work session.

>> definitely.

>> I agree.
or understand that your precinct may be impact understand your absence.

>> exactly.

>> that used to get me there.

>> [ laughter ]

>> anything further today?
by wait, that was a scheduling discussion, which we could have without being posted.
y'all have a great rest of the day.
robert, thanks for getting us through our meeting so quickly.
