Travis County Commissioners Court
Tuesday, June 28, 2011 (Agenda)
Citizens Communication
Citizens communication is next.
this item gives residents an opportunity to address the court on any matter not on the agenda.
chester Davis signed in but he is here on the fireworks item.
>> I am, judge.
>> we'll call you when that item is up.
number 2 is gus pena, number 3 is ronnie reeferseed, number 4 is dr. John k.
kim.
if we could get mr. Reeferseed and dr. Kim to come forth at this time.
mr. Pena.
>> sorry about that, judge.
good morning judge, Commissioners, gus pena, proud native east Austinite, proud united states marine corps veteran.
what you have before you, I went before the council last year and this south suburban lodge.
suburban lodge before it closed in may was
>> [inaudible] many homeless families.
it has two beds, some have two beds and it does have a burner, a full-size refrigerator and it was affordable housing for many families.
it was sold to walter morrow's nonprofit.
the only thing we're getting to more s.r.o., single room occupancy.
that's what this suburban lodge is going to become when it becomes refurbished and renovated.
I've always advocated for mixtures for singles and families.
this has not occurred with this initiative and I told the city council and the mayor this is not a good proposal.
make it mixed so at least you can have homeless families there.
read it, please, and you can do whatever you want to with it, but it's a good initiative.
unfortunately it should have been for homeless families and singles anyway.
anyway, we are getting away from helping the homeless families.
I'm a democrat, but I've done my homework at the capitol.
I lost a lot of weight walking back and forth to the city council, but the pat-down bill.
you might think it's gerrymandering on because of the speaker, joe straus.
I like this guy.
to say that of a republican, that's kind of not the norm.
but I have gotten to know the speaker very well and I highly respect him and what he did was going against the lieutenant governor on this pat-down bill, t.s.a.
to me it's commendable.
it tells people exactly what is going on over there political-wise and is a shenanigan-wise.
I know speaker you listen to my comments, but you have my respect on these issues and other issues but not on the rainy day fund.
you could have tapped the rainy day fund.
our kids are suffering because we didn't tap the rainy day fund for education.
judge, Commissioners, you've known me for many years I've advocated for summer jobs for the youth.
these are trying times for our youth.
gangs are trying to solicit membership in the gangs and it's pretty heavy, so please in the next budget cycle, remember our youth, they are our future and we need to have more funding for summer job programs for the youth.
the last item I would like so say is this a society's worth is measured by its treatment of the less fortunate.
you know, our veterans are becoming more homeless.
we have homeless veterans with families.
they become homeless, losing their home, foreclosure, whatever --
>> [buzzer sounding] -- we need to support our female veterans.
god bless america and thank you for your time.
>> thank you.
mr. Reeferseed is next.
>> [bell ringing]
>> I'm sorry, judge.
this is really important.
this is ronnie reeferseed yelling yippee!
yesterday, me alex jones and a couple of hundreds at least of me and my closest friends invaded the capitol building of this state state of Texas and the office of our own gardasil showed no sign of this slick fairy.
just a joke, governor.
that's right, previously our governor had been chosen to attend a slimy meeting of banksters, royalty and other power players who unconstitutionally and illegally meet in relative secrecy to make illegal deals and set policy without elected representation of you and me.
so our own secretary of state, miss felony hog wash has been found guilty and paid a fine for violating that act and going to these very meetings.
they absolutely fundamental logan act it's called.
logan act reminds us that all -- any and all secret meetings of anyone to make policy decisions is completely illegal and totally contrary to our own form of constitutional republicanism.
we live in a constitutional republic that is ruled by law founded in our precious u.s.
constitution, not ruled by the dictatorial scheme ology of any bankster stooge.
listen to martin luther king, don't judge anyone based on just skin color.
it's not a mistake that well over 50% of all black babies won received with a zygote in the womb are murdered by planned parenthood baby eliminators.
you see, we're all just pests to the ruling elite like the build a burgers.
guess what, black america, including vernon jordan, a black man, hates you more than anyone along with constitutional enthusiasts like me.
doctors Ron and rand paul and other patriots.
they cleverly keep us divided as demublicans or republicrats, the biggotted criminal zionist regime of israel.
foreign entanglement.
george washington knew we are the best preserved as an independent constitutional republic be holden to nobody.
we make our own rules that matters not a wit what the u.n.
or anyone else says.
so-called peace prize president you still have to follow the constitution no matter what the u.n.
says about hijacking gadhafi's libya who voluntarily gave up weapons of mass destruction years ago.
why punish gadhafi's peaceful ways?
he never attacked anyone like israel does.
gadhafi has --
>> [buzzer sounding] -- no weapons of mass destruction.
we are being forced to kill more people.
why?
because israel wants us to kill each other.

>> dr. Kim.
>> thank you, sir.
good morning.
>> good morning.
>> it's my joy and excitement and joy, john kim, professor at Austin community college.
I'm here to appreciate all of you.
lot me talk today about
>> [indiscernible].
it's a ridiculous, it's unconstitutional.
first of all, we don't have a sanctuary cities in the state of Texas.
and the governor rick perry is a great man.
is patriotic, very handsome like movie star.
his wife also very beautiful like miss america.
I really appreciate all of them.
but his office, governor office, ridiculous, stupid, very dangerous.
very dangerous.
sanctuary cities bill, first of all, he said we abolish sanctuary cities.
we don't have sanctuary cities in the state of Texas, in the united states.
the second sanctuary cities bill already failed to pass.
and now second session, now special session.
let me let you know how governor rick perry talks to me.
April 19, 2005, and November 6, 2006, governor rick perry's office wrote to me.
your inquiry would therefore be more appropriately directed through the federal level and to other channels.
the governor office rick perry stupid, did not know what it means
>> [inaudible].
I ask them to fix it.
he ask me it is an immigration issue, he wrote to me same story, same explanation.
this is sanctuary city -- this is immigration issue.
governor office Texas has nothing to do with immigration issue.
that's stupid.
dangerous.
very dangerous.
this is a case in which american government established under george w.
bush 43rd kidnapped Texas
>> [indiscernible] from Travis County to south korea after that government threaten the south korean government because south korean government issued --
>> [buzzer sounding] -- illegal
>> [indiscernible] but refused one year to issue travel
>> [indiscernible] so they threatened the south korean government.
thank you.
>> thank you, dr. Kim.
those are the persons signed in to speak under citizens communication.
