move the public hearing be open.
>> second.
>> all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
>> good morning, judge and Commissioners.
steve manila from t.n.r.
we're requesting the court's approval to close allen road between pinnacle and easy street in precinct 3.
you may recall about this time last year we came to the court for a road closure request.
it was requested from Austin water utility so they can do some utility work in the road.
that was approved.
during the process of completing that utility work, though, they damaged the road, easy street.
and -- I mean allen road, and they are requesting a road closure up to six weeks starting next week so that they can complete that work before school starts in August.
and we would recommend approval of that.
it will be a safer, quicker way to get this work done.
>> any objections called to our attention?
>> none that I know of, judge.
>> would anyone like to give public comment during this period?
if so, please come forward.
>> steve, if I can ask, have you coordinated this with the neighborhood?
I know they had problems early on on the utility work.
>> we did post notice on the site.
I don't know what face-to-face conversations we had but we will make sure we do that between now and then.
>> move the public hearing be closed.
>> second.
>> all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
this will be action item number 15 on today's agenda.
