As for Executive Session, one of those items, I think it's number 26, we'll need tom as well on that one.
and he said if he doesn't make it back in time that we can pass that one on to next week.
if that's okay with t.n.r.
and Commissioner Eckhardt.

>> looks like we need to give deece more time.
25, receive update from security committee on emerging security issues for Travis County.
and this is under the security exception to the open meetings act.
we will not announce 26.
27 is to receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action regarding proposal for payment plan with bruce lipshy to pay the county under lease agreement at 700 lavaca, consultation with attorney and real estate exceptions.
28, receive legal briefing and take appropriate action on ugl equis corporation contract including request for modification.
consultation with attorney.
so we're holding off on a 2 as well as 26 until this afternoon and we've announced those three items. We'll discuss them in executive session, but will return to open court before taking any action.

We have returned from executive discussion where we discussed the three items announced.

we will have it back on the court's agenda when appropriate.
27 is a matter involving the bruce lipschi lease agreement at 700 lavaca suite 405, no action today, we will have it back on the agenda for appropriate action and discussion next week.
is that okay.
28 is the possible modification of the contract with ugl corporation.
I move we indicate our intention not to take action on the modification to give an opportunity to get responses to a soon to be issued rfi regarding the block of land purchased by Travis County recently.

>> second.

>> discussion on the motion?
all in favor.
show Commissioners Davis, Eckhardt, Huber and yours truly voting in fair.
Commissioner Gomez.

>> I'm going to abstain, judge.
I do not have enough information as to why this would be a good decision, and I really am encouraging us to have a work session so that we can bring the public up to date on definitions.
that is not violating the purchase act in any way.
I think we need, I need more information in order to know that the direction we're taking is a good one.

>> judge, my concern, though, in supporting this, is that I'm hoping that the rfi does bring the necessary specific information I think we need to evaluate and look at a lot closer.
so I understand your concern, Commissioner, but hopefully this rfi will be able lay information down hopefully in a time will be manner to see where everything is.
I understand your concern.

>> that is the next stem for me.

>> that motion is is approved by a vote of four in favor and one abstention.
