Executive Session Item 27
At this time why don't we take in executive session.
27, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action regarding the offer to settle Travis County's claims against rashad robinson for damages to a guardrail.
this is under consultation with attorney.
if my office will notify the jp's that we will be able to reach the planner item before 11:30.
if they could get here as close to 11 as possible, we will call that item up.
we have only one item for executive session discussion.
after that discussion, we will take up the legislative item and hopefully mr. Eckstein will be here at that time.
the item on the civil courthouse was postponed.
I thought y'all were over here to observe the Commissioners court in action too.
sorry about that.
>> I didn't have that one will--that one left.
>> beg your pardon?
is.
>> it was the executive session item.
>> I have 12, 28, 29 and 30.
>> didn't call it yet.
>> I indicated to the court that we would postpone because we need to work on 26.
>> okay.
>> we did announce executive session.
let's convene in there.
mr. Eckstein, this ought to take us five minutes..
we have returned from executive session where we discussed the only item that we announced, number 27, the matter regarding mr. Robertson and damages he caused to a county guardrail.
is there a motion?
move that we ask the county attorney's office to investigate mr. Robertson's ability to pay $100 a month or more and report back to us next week.
>> second.
>> discussion?
all in favor.
that passes by unanimous vote.
we'll have that matter back on next week.
hopefully with a little bit more information that we need to make a determination.
