13 is consider and take appropriate action on request from sails in concert, inc., for a discounted on extended rental of the luedecke arena and skyline club from April 1 through 8th, 2011 and April 10 through 12, 2011.

>> good morning, roger el khoury.
this is a special request from the entertainer camp and the group booking the events sails in concert for booking the event for the -- booking the arena for the event for about like ten days.
they are not going to be used -- it's going to be very few or minimum tear and wear on the facility because they are going to use it for rehearsal only and also they are starting from April 1st, they are going to have some kind of a little conflict with the star of Texas because star of Texas until the 3rd, but we talked to star of Texas if they would make it work for the April 1st so we can get those national entertainer into the expo center for the 44,100.
and beside they are going to have some disruption to their event, you know, on the 9th because we have other event in the arena.
so he agreed to all of that and also one more thing, they want rehearse on the arena itself, but they want it to be private, you know, to it.
they don't want any public to be there, even our staff they don't want to be there.
we're just there if anything would be wrong with the facility.
in addition to that, they rented the skyline club because not going to use the skyline club just to

>> [indiscernible].
so the $12,000 for skyline club, the 25% which is 10,750.
we feel it's a good deal to have the national entertainer over there and use the facility for about ten days and the arena.
this is the longest period it's been used the arena on continuous basis after the rodeo.
you know, so this is a good deal for -- good thing to come to us right there and we strongly recommend approval.
of the 25% discount.

>> the other thing I noted was that although they plan to be there about ten days, the -- they expect just an initial cleanup.

>> right.

>> after that I guess they will take care of it themselves?

>> absolutely.
they are not going to be any problem with the cleaning this facility.
what we're going to do is we're going to clean it completely on before April 1st, and we're going to clean it after the event, you know, which is on April 9th.
we're going to have an event in the arena and should be no problem.
and they paid the $775 for to clean the facility also, in addition to the rental.

>> okay, and they really just want undisturbed rehearsal time.

>> exactly.
only private stuff.
no public.
even he requested that, you know, his name not to be mentioned right there because he don't want the public to know that he's there.

>> get that $40,000 up front, roger?

>> $44,100.
yes, it's coming if you move approval.

>> I move approval.

>> I have a question.
beginning April 1st, that spans over two weekends.
what kind of revenue are we foregoing for not being able to rent the property for I imagine those two weekends could be lucrative.

>> my understanding there is only one event we booked on the arena itself.
we booked other event on other grounds, you know, during that period.
and there should be no interference with that.
just like, you know, the sales on the contract in that particular build, we have the main street, we have lone star for a couple weeks so I think we're good.

>> what is the rental?
what is the weekend rental for events in those two spaces?
is it just, you know, added 25% on top of the 44,000?

>> it's the same.
the rental on the weekend is the same as the rental in the weekday.

>> really?

>> it's $3,000 per day on the weekend.
also $3,000 per day on the -- on any given day in the week.
that's the arena.

>> might want to examine that from a facility perspective.
okay.

>> any more discussion?
all in favor of the motion?
show -- that passes by unanimous vote.

>> thank you.

>> thank you very much.
