>> let's take another quick item before we go to citizens communication and that is 2, introduction of lydia domaruk as the new county extension agent-urban youth development with Texas agrilife extension in Travis County.
good morning.

>> good morning, judge and Commissioners.
skip richter, county extension director and I'm pleased this morning to introduce our new agent in the.
lydia will be overseeing our capital 4-h.
capital 4-h especially focuses on areas and youth that are least served or have the opportunity through after-school programs to receive that education.
lydia has a background, she comes to us with -- or from the boys and girls club where she was one of the directors of programming.
she has an extensive background in youth education and we're really pleased to have her.
she's a member of the central Texas after-school network and a train we are the group program quality initiatives.
so she brings a lot of talents and abilities that will really help enhance our outreach to youth through the capital 4-h program.

>> how do you pronounce your last name, lydia?

>> it's pronounced domaruk.

>> thank you.

>> we're lucky to have you.

>> I'm happy to be here.

>> we love 4-h.

>> by the way, how is your budget looking?

>> at what level, sir?
we're watching at every level.
of course, the national congress is doing their work on the smith lever act.
we're hanging in there.
wherever it ends up we'll continue to program and serve the people of Travis County.
