Travis County Commissioners Court

Tuesday, February 22, 2011,
Item 3

View captioned video.

Item 3 is approve resolution recognizing jim farris upon his retirement from Travis County.
and nobody is here to receive this resolution, however, because mr. Farris has given us 29 years of his life and an employee of Travis County, began as a programmer-analyst 1, and he is basically lauded for his strong work ethic, integrity and compassion, and the note here that he was in the u.t.
longhorn band, which makes him an appropriate Travis County employee.
but his contributions to Travis County will remain a part of Travis County for years to come and I move approval.

>> second.

>> and maybe by not coming for the resolution we don't get invited to his going away party.
mr. Farris, if we're invited, we just may come.
that was seconded, right?

>> yes, it was seconded, judge.

>> any other comments?
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
