Citizens Communication

View captioned video.

Citizens communication is first.
and this item gives residents an opportunity to address the court on any matter not on the agenda.
for up to three minutes.
and the following residents have signed in to speak: ronnie reeferseed, gus pena, joan conan, kim, and morris priest, in that order.

>> okie-dokie.
thank you, sir.
ronnie reeferseed yelling wake up.
the game is over now in more ways than we know, but this street -- the arab street, the thoughtful, peaceful and arab street has hit the fan despite the bbc and others nobobs of negativism.
knows know it all pundits keep calling for this to be more programmed.
mubarek best exit stage right now for less damage to his nation after the targeted killing of anwar sadat who practices targeted killings as a birthright, israel.
mubarek's exiting abruptly makes it harder for us and the israelis to jam through some other clown to toe that heavily unpopular line of hog wash for zionism.
hallelujah.
kenyan born indonesian president so-called president so-called barack obama told the chamber of commerce despite the job killing death spiral to death scheme ology and despite the heavy handed knife in the back of the coal industry, for example, over half our nation's power with clean emission right here in the usa and no costly expenses for china to clean their emissions.
well, from their exploding oil energy platform, he bragged about killing coal here with regulation.
hmm, detect a predictable pattern?
less power, more blackouts.
less control of our own lives.
in tote, the so-called land of the free, home of the brave.
to learn more on line visit info wars.com plus more on Ron paul.org and let's do nor step help the killing here and abroad beginning with the pre-born until called home naturally by god.
we never have the valid right to skilled for anyone when they die.
long live we subjects.
barak has got to go.
stopping the killing is the one I’m most devoted to on every level.
we don't need to kill anybody, the unborn, the old people.
it's a gift from god that we have life and we don't have this authority to take it away from anybody for any reason.
and Ron --

>> [buzzer sounding] thank you so much.

>> thank you, mr. Reeferseed.
mr. Pena.

>> good morning, judge, Commissioners, gus pena, proud east Austin native, proud united states marine corps veteran.
I was reading the paper, I don't know if you head it or not, but it says Travis County at 3.4 billion budget information health and human services.
that's what it states here.
proposed cuts $762.2 million.
that includes a lot of things, not just, you know, health, rental assistance, medication, et cetera.
this is a catastrophic cut.
and you remember last month I mentioned the fact that we need everybody to call our state representatives, state senators, lobby them, even if you are not a lobbyist or consultant, just as a human being because people and kids have a lot of health concerns and other concerns.
we do not need any cuts in our funding.
call the governor especially because my understanding is that the governor could have accepted some funding from washington because there are some red tape and strings attached.
he chooses not to do that.
well, mr. Governor, you know who I am.
I spoke to you already last legislative session, this legislative session.
it is not good.
and believe me, this is not an affordable city, affordable for whom?
another thing that I’d like to mention is proposed cuts for education.
you are cutting funding for education where it's not going to be a good idea.
we need more funding for to keep our teachers, keep our service intact.
ercot, remember the fiasco, Commissioner Huber, I have friends in the trailer park on old bee cave road, but they lost their power three times and these are the low areas in the trailer park.
old bee cave road needs to be repaved.
I travel that every day.
my boy visits one of his classmates.
anyway, we need area paving.
last item is this is that we tend to forget about our veterans.
you know me, I don't need anybody to recognize my service to my marine corps, my countries, but these veterans coming from iraq and afghanistan have suffered a lot of a lot of mental health, substance abuse problems and they want to cut funding for mental health and that's not acceptable.
you see tonight high school and middle school and elementary, bipolar disease.
used to be called anger management.
we need heavy funding.
I support his office because we need help with this.
other cities are lobbying as we speak.
I see you, Commissioner Eckhardt, thank you for going over and doing your job.
we need everybody to continue lobbying for funding.
we can't afford cuts.
I’ll leave it at that.
a society's worth is measured by its treatment of the less fortunate.
mr. Governor, if you are listening, I told me you see my ugly face -- he said he sees me face on television, we cannot afford these catastrophic cuts in Travis County.
god bless you all.
keep on trucking.
thank you very much.

>> thank you, mr. Pena.
dr. Kim.

>> good morning, my honorable judge simplicity Biscoe and honorable Commissioners Eckhardt and Huber and Ron Davis.
I really appreciate and -- I really appreciate all of you.
I am here greatly it's my honor to speak to you in front of you.
it really appreciate.
thanks to you.
thanks to god.
I really appreciate it.
I have great news.
someone told me of this building, this Travis County Commissioners court office building employee told me in front of me at the elevator, she said I had always good point.
it's my honorable honor in my life time.
and gentleman, he is also official of this Travis County court.
he told me that she did represent most of the people.
it's a really great opportunity.
really.
but this court of Travis County, judge scott jenkins, he find, declared john kim is a

>> [indiscernible] litigant and local other

>> [indiscernible].
john k.
dietz also declared john kim is a litigant and he wrote supreme court address the soul, it's a lie.
did not address so.
and also I received an email letter from the white house of president barack obama and michelle obama writing to me, send me -- asking me my thought and idea to help white house.
I receive this February 1st, this here.
I tried to help to you improve american democracy and american education and Travis County right here.
it's my county.
but appointee nelson also told me in front of honorable judge Sam Biscoe, I lost in court.
jesus christ lost in the court of pilate the government who was sitting in judgment to release --

>> [buzzer sounding] -- or jesus christ, he decided to release a prisoner instead of jesus.
but jesus raised up after three days.
thank you very much.

>> morris priest.

>> morris priest on my behalf.
supposed to talk about have an answer for everything and when the city is at the height of foreclosures deciding to make a clinic put signs on their doors saying they didn't perform abortions, many people stepped up and we got senate bill 16 on the sonogram before the state legislature.
we're passing out petitions against planned parenthood.
you can see this on -- or call them at 477-1244.
also have a lot of other things on the fast track.
balanced budget.
you can log on to spending teaming up with americans to fight this -- that we can't even escape when we watch the super bowl at half time.
we see some entertainers seeing lines about don't hate obama, educate our children.
but our sanctuary cities are supposedly to be coming to an end.
they are illegal and it's 2278 g.
we're taxed enough already.
we're having voter i.d.
and eminent domain and this nonsense of e.p.a.
nonattainment being addressed.
if you happen to see will house of representativesnet in the capitol say dan neal.
if you see our governor, say fed up.
our young americans foundation.org is having some great ideas expressed on their agenda.
did have issues I wanted to take up with campo.
hopefully they will provide the information.
they want to bring up some things when people do come to Commissioners court that they not be interrupted.
did want to call you out, Commissioner Eckhardt a couple weeks ago when you interrupted as you have many people, even members on this court, dr. Kim when he was speaking.
if you did have comments or questions, I would like you to hold them to the end because we're having a lot of elected officials in our public eye whether it's at the capitol or the city or at the county level that are -- or campo and other venues that are interrupting people when they are speaking in their three minutes.
and I think you have done a good job, judge Biscoe, on the campo board making sure those things don't happen.
and I would hope you keep the same decorum in this court when those issues arrive.
but I do think when people have their three minutes they should have uninterrupted time and points of clarification should be addressed by the public especially -- with Commissioner Eckhardt --

>> [buzzer sounding] -- saying this court supported us at the campo board when gerald did support us at the campo body.
thank you.

>> thank you, mr. Pre-.
priest.
