>> 21, consider and take appropriate action regarding board and committee assignments.

>> number 20.
you said 21.

>> all right.
20.
assignments and appointments for Commissioners court members.
we chatted about eliminating a couple of those committees last week, like the audit committee.
it had not met in years, right?

>> right.

>> the ctrma subcommittee, state highway 130 subcommittee.
move that we eliminate those three.

>> discussion?
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
any others that we absolutely do not need.
Commissioner Eckhardt and I chatted about the clean air force.
I have been on that one for a few years.
for the last year, though, ms. Noel has been really attending for me, and they would like an elected official whose attendance will be better than mine.

>> I was on it before and am still part of it, I think.

>> I think you are still on.

>> I’m still on it.
I understand the attendance, as far as you showing up, we both need to show up at the same time on different occasions.
but anyway, I’ll be there or a representative will be there when I’m not able to be there.
I have already lined that up and got, hopefully my staff already alerted ms. Wells to that effect.
already part of it.

>> they asked for one of us to be there.
they didn't ask for two.
Commissioner Davis is on it.

>> if Commissioner Eckhardt wants to be on, that is fine with me.
the more the merrier.
is that all right with you?

>> I’ll do whatever is the court's pleasure.

>> can we coordinate so at least one of y'all will be there?

>> yes.

>> I can be your alternate.

>> okay.

>> I told them I would not be offended if they kicked me off the board.
and to show that I understood, I will do all I could to get an elected official to attend.
so let's do that then.
should I notify in writing that it will be one or both of you?.
then I need to remain on the clean air coalition since I was just reee licted chair a couple of weeks ago.
that is the clean air coalition.
any other changes.
still eager?

>> at the risk--

>> to continue the precinct 3 participation on there?

>> well, when we rolled appointments to me, that one didn't get rolled in.

>> move that we roll carpo to Commissioner Huber.

>> second.

>> discussion?
all in favor.
that passes by unanimous vote.
they will be glad to see you.
I think they reminded me at least once or twice a month.

>> judge, on the policy committee for cnc, if we can work something out there, I can be an alternate to whoever is the designated representative.

>> shall we stick with the dua and cuc swap and have each other as alternates?

>> the da sampt a difficult meeting for me to get to.
it's at eight in the morning.
I don't know that I can make an agreement on that one.
I was talking simply about cuc.

>> okay.
shall I do cuc for this year with you as alternate and we'll swap back?

>> that is fine.
they are really interesting meetings and I like to be there.

>> I have been posting so member the court can attend.

>> that was for the you are pan committee.
are we posting those?

>> no.
the lunch is what I get note if I case.

>> perhaps we should post those.

>> policy committee?
just the three members?
although the representative is the one that goes so if I can be--

>> not looking for a posting opportunity.

>> I don't think we have ever had more than two.

>> we have other people from the county go, but I have never seen it where there's more than the two of us.

>> I don't know when they occur.
the lunch I get notice of.

>> yeah.

>> I don't think we need to post it.

>> no.

>> if you will be my alternate in the event that I cannot attend.

>> yes.

>> of course, they are open to the policy committee meetings, to attendance by any Commissioner or judge.

>> uh-huh.
okay.

>> the cuc policy committee.

>> and the daa.

>> Eckhardt and alternate Gomez.

>> yes.

>> daa is now meeting at noon although the tma is meeting at eight in the morning.
