Executive Session
Now let's call back to order the voting session of the Travis County Commissioners court.

so we have remaining 36, receive briefing from the county attorney and take appropriate action concerning submission by Travis County of an amicus brief in support of the state in a man damus action in re state of Texas before the Texas supreme court.
and amicus is just a friend of the court brief basically.
that is under the consultation with attorney and real property exceptions to the open meetings act.
37, receive legal briefing and take appropriate action on appeal from Travis County grievance panel disix in flores versus rich mccain pursuant to code 9527 k, consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act.
our third item for discussion will be 38, consider and take appropriate action on appeal of staff decision to terminate contract, proffer settlement and other actions regarding van tana dell sol contract number ps 090063 re, and that will be the consultation with attorney exception also.
we'll discuss these three items in executive session and return to open court before taking any action.

I move that we grant the request and ask the staff to prepare an appropriate friend of the court brief in the interest of Travis County and texans.

number 38 is the matter involving the decision to terminate the contract of ventana del soul.
I move that we offer to settle this matter for the sum of $19,395.50.
and inherent in this compromise offer would be basically our finding that both the suspension and termination of the contract were justified.
