Citizens communication is first on the agenda.
and this item gives residents an opportunity to address the court on any matter not on the agenda for up to three minutes.
the following individuals have requested to speak: john k.
kim, gus pena, ronnie reeferseed, and a.
artemus.
in that order.
dr. Kim.

>> thank you, your honor.
good morning.

>> good morning.

>> good morning.

>> I really appreciate all of you.
god bless america, god bless Texas, god bless Travis County court and Travis County.
I really appreciate you for this great chance for your grace to allow me to speak before you continuously.
I really appreciate you.
last time right here my honorable judge Biscoe told me acc said john kim is not contributing

>> [indiscernible] that's a lie, a fraud, unacceptable, a crime.
they never wrote me.
they wrote, they wrote -- they fired me.
they have paper.
they said they use a student, student evaluation.
classroom observation.
classroom observation is not supposed to use to fire.
no, they did it.
they lied.
we did not fire you.
president of school kinslow and john hunt, they lied to me, they lied to the court, and also they refused to

>> [indiscernible] until today.
that's my property.
that's my life.
that's my property.
we have 10 commandments between the supreme court and the building, the library.
10th amendment stand and say you shall --

>> [indiscernible] stole my human rights.
no, they denied we didn't.
that's lie.
I not accept that.
no.
government stole my property.
government stole my civil rights.
and also this court, I let you know I provide all the copies of the laws.
this court has jurisdiction.
this court has judicial power.
this court has judges -- no, judges have judicial function to select judiciary act.
and I

>> [indiscernible] for nine days written statement, write questions, you never answered.
I need your written answer, please.
and also this court has the power to decide a case.
please, I beg you, really, and this all the papers is government generated paper.
they lied to me.
all they say general greg abbott denied -- and Texas work commission, they also denied everything.
all the papers that generated by government, attorney general and their lawyers, one, two, three, four.
they hired four lawyers.
they lied to me.

>> [buzzer sounding] f.

>> thank you, dr. Kim.

>> thank you, sir.

>> mr. Pena.

>> good morning, judge.
gus pena, proud east Austin native, proud united states marine corps veteran.
number one, you have -- and I知 going to talk briefly, you have a resolution awarding January as poverty month.
a very good article that I would recommend if you have not read, the price of poverty.
you want to see poverty in itself in its real true life, go out to the community, the community we know being in poverty.
at risk.
I was next door to parking lot with my friend mr. Jerry and mr. Rios, the ones who control the parking for state representatives and their staff, and I want to thank state representative coleman who is a friend of mine, state rep guyega and we discussed the catastrophic potential cuts from health and human services budgets, mhmr, special needs children, needs, youth services, education.
it's scary.
it's spooky.
in order to balance the budget.
not enough funding.
and I want to just say this, that we're being -- we are at the capitol as we speak even as poor as I am to make sure that these catastrophic cuts are minimal or do not occur at all.
do not eliminate pre-k.
it will be catastrophic for our kids.
the basic education for our children starts at home, yes, but pre-k is also basic foundation to go forward to kindergarten and elementary and middle school and then high school.
it is catastrophic to close schools.
it is catastrophic to eliminate pre-k, so I know Commissioner Eckhardt, judge Biscoe, you are on the community action network.
I知 a former teacher also.
I taught e.s.l.
and student taught at johnston high school when I got out of the marine corps in 1974.
it's not good to cut schools, to cut programs that the the essence of building an educational foundation for our kids.
freezing jobs is -- I know you want to balance the budget, the city, state, whatever.
less jobs for the unemployment.
more people unemployed.
and unemployment is already at over 9%.
people are just giving up, no jobs.
eric rangel will be running against laura more son, brian rogers running against randi shade, place 3.
it is important to mention people who are want to go make change.
please show your appreciation and support for our military and veterans in harm's way.
ly end by saying this, we need to keep the funding for dropout prevention, truancy prevention, support services for children, mental health issues and please mentors and tutors, volunteer if you have time.
kiss your children, hug your children, tell them that you love them.
you might not have them tomorrow.
a society's worth is measured by the treatment of less fortunate.

>> [buzzer sounding] please do not let these catastrophic cuts come.

>> thank you.
mr. Reeferseed.

>> thank you, sir.
ronnie reeferseed, singing hallelujah after weeks now of nonstop hog wash about tucson, many citizens are beginning again to face reality with even more ferver and devotion.
yes, ms. Giffords is making phenominal progress, rejoice, but we cannot be but very sad about that little girl's death.
words by her father guaranteed by our constitution and have been ignored by our mainstream media of conniving crooks and traitors.
hardly a peep about the assassination of that junk federal judge who had punished our still predator mainstream media darling boy traitor.
while using his salacious abuse of the young monica lewinsky, he distracted us and got away with surrendering our long-time investment to the chinese, israeli biggotted totalitarianism.
the u.s.
dollar is losing value thereby reducing our economy to a junk world third word status.
thank you, mr. Hu, the bushes, the gang of criminals, but no, we do not have to take it.
facing reality and acting accordingly is challenging but we are blessed with two doctors paul with ideas and dr. Ron paul has been delivering the throughout about a sound commodity based dollar, sound economic policies based on sound adherence to our u.s.
constitution.
we fought our revolution to break away from dictatorial war making policies and tax schemes and we are in the process of doing it again.
the vast majority of conscious citizens just say no to death panels and yes to the actual dr. Ron paul based tea party movement.
remember, the original tea party rebellion was about taxation without representation.
no, u.s.
constitutional enthusiasts will not allow the entire country to be hijacked by insurance company scheme ologists.
the scheme as it stands today which is why it will not stand tomorrow.
we may have to wait longer to flush out the hog wash from our system, but the ob-gyn revolution keeps on keeping on.

>> [buzzer sounding] -- you have never seen before.
he can save our rep from the scheming criminals.
we just have to pay attention and take the time to make life better for all of us.
time is now.
thank you so much.

>> thank you, mr. Reeferseed.
a.
artemus.

>> good news and bad news.
the good news is I am now subscribed to your agendas so I thank you for doing the practical end of that.
the bad news is I never did find out why my subscription ever bounced to begin with.

>> miss artemus, we don't handle those issues during citizens communication.
my staff person should be able to get that answer for you, if not from the appropriate county staff.

>> she has not do so so I await your answer.

>> did you ask her is this.

>> oh, yes, quite elaborately last week.
she met with me briefly afterwards and I said it's fine and good for me to subscribe, but I am suspecting hacking but nobody else who tried an auto responder based system prior to me had that problem.

>> okay, well, I don't think anybody here has the answer.
I certainly don't.

>> who is the prepare staff?

>> the person you chatted with last week.
if she doesn't know or can't get you the answer, we'll try to go to the i.t.s.
department and find somebody who can.

>> I met with mr. Harlow.
is that who you are talking about?

>> well, mr. Harlow and his staff.

>> he has not followed up with me.
he has hidden under a rock.

>> well, I知 sure this at the top of their list of things to do.
give them a little more time.
let's see.

>> I spoke to him prior to appearing for the Commissioners court last week.

>> okay.
well, your problem has been solved but you want to know why the problem occurred in the first place.

>> the superficial problem of subscription has been solved, but the greater problem of hacking has not been even investigated, to my knowledge.

>> okay.
anything else during citizens communication today?

>> I am unclear, are you going to have mr. Harlow get back with me?

>> I don't know what mr. Harlow's position on this.
my request to my staff was to get you subscribed, which was your request last week.
I did not know you had other issues to deal with.
I have to get their response first.

>> yeah, on the hacking issue.

>> when you brought it up last week, it was new to me but I figured it was simple and it should be fixed so I asked my staff to do it.
this followup issue is another one.
so if I can help, I壇 be happy to do it.
but this is not the time.
I can't do it now.
this is not -- citizens communication is not the time.

>> well, as a communicating citizen, I知 letting you know the greater problem of hacking remains unresolved and I did the logical step of meeting with mr. Harlow prior to appearing before this commission last week and did follow up with your assistant.
and only the part about --

>> [buzzer sounding] -- subscribing has been resolved so far.
the hacking remains unresolved.

>> okay.
on this sheet here it says we may not legally deliberate issues.

>> okay.

>> you are asking us to do it.
we're here to receive information.
you are here to give a second complaint, hey, I want to know why I was not subscribed in a timely manner in the first place.

>> right.

>> to be honest, I don't know that's a priority for us, but if we can get that answer we ought to.
I値l do what I can to help.
we're out of time.

>> okay.

>> or since you are subscribed now, send me an email.
I guarantee you I値l respond to you.

>> okay.

>> anybody else for citizens communication whether you are signed in or not?
