going to the a 2 first, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action regarding the hiring of outside counsel in alicia perez versus Travis County.
number 1-11-cv, 0018-lv, consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act.
21, receive legal brief and take appropriate action on appeal from Travis County grievance panel decision in sergio flores versus precinct 3 constable rich mccain pursuant to Travis County code section 9.257.
consultation with attorney and personnel exceptions.
22, receive update on leases regarding the recent purchase of land at 4th and guadalupe.
consultation with attorney and real property exceptions.
23, receive briefing from county attorney's office on legal issues regarding approval of the preliminary plan application for the estancia hill country subdivision.

24, consider and take appropriate action regarding purchase of open space land in precinct 1.

so we may not take action today.
we'll have it back on the court's agenda for further consideration and action.
24 is the matter involving the potential purchase of open space land in precinct 1.
we did get the briefing n my view no action required today.
anybody think otherwise?
a-2 is a matter involving the hiring of outside counsel in alicia perez versus Travis County.
I move that we authorize the county attorney to negotiate an appropriate contract with the firm of graves-dougherty and there are other names in the name of the firm.
and that we authorize from the risk management fund or allocated reserve as appropriate a knot to exceed amount of $50,000 to start things off.
and when we get to that amount, the expectation is that the matter will be brought back to the court's -- to the Commissioners' court for further consideration.

>> only if the court wants it back on, otherwise you can authorize the county judge to sign it based on our form of contracts for outside counsel.
