>> 17 is consider and take appropriate action regarding board and committee assignments and appointments for Commissioners court members.
I put this on just for us to start thinking about it.
there are several things I think I need to call to the attention of the rest of the court.
there's a vacancy on the rural transportation, just one, and the clean air coalition, I am chair, but I’m willing to step down if somebody else would like to serve.
those are elected officials.
on the clean air force, Commissioner Davis is shown as a member, but I have been a member too.
and miss adell has been attending for me.
and that board leadership has made it clear that they would like a member of the Commissioners court who will attend the meetings.
that is not me.
I was chair for a year and attended during that time, so on the clean air coalition I’m willing to step down if somebody else is willing to do that.
clean air force, elected official's position also.
I’ve been on it and miss noel has been going to 2 t.
the meets but they prefer to have a court member attend.
those are had highlights.
do we need another week or two more weeks?
what we did last time was just have it on a Tuesday court session, and most much us indicated our willingness to keep serving on the committees.
some of these committees seems to me we ought to think about eliminating anyway.
the audit committee.

>> we did have a discussion at one point about the social the g any committee that hadn't met in a year.

>> ctra subcommittee, we met a lot the first year, but since that's been up and running five or six years, I don't think there's been a meeting.
I’m on it and I can tell you for sure there hasn't been a meeting or a need to meet.
so these clutter up.
the state highway 130 subcommittee.
I just think it served its purpose really.
so let's just think about those are the three take stand out to me as kind of being unnecessary at this point other than cluttering up the committees list.
the others I think really are pretty active.
also I have been chair of the corporations.
we've had the offices and either I can step down or keep doing it.
I’m normally here on Tuesday anyway so either way is fine.
one week or two weeks?

>> two weeks.

>> we'll have it back on in two weeks and hopefully take action on them at that point.
so this item was really just to surface that we need to make appointments.
typically we do it in January of each year anyway.
and that's the 25th, right?

>> yes.
