Housing Finance Corporation
Let's call to order the Travis County housing and finance corporation.one item.
one item with different parts.
consider and take appropriate action on the following, a, receive an update on the tenant-based rental assistance grant.
quick update.
>> quick update.
it's doing just fine.
number b is the one that I'm really asking action for.
>> b is execute an opt in letter to a reservation system for additional tenant based rental assistance funds.
why is there a good idea?
>> this is a good idea because the state has a million dollars that they're putting in a pool and for current subrecipients that have a grant, and we can access this pool to add more badly needed money to enhance this program and this opt in letter is due the first of December so that we can have opportunity.
>> our share.
that's why I move approval.
>> second.
>> discussion?
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
c, prepare an application for a tenant -- for a new tenant based rental assistance program.
>> and we're just requesting the board to authorize us to prepare a grant which we would -- because there's $2.4 million statewide available.
grant is due the beginning of January and we'll be back to the board with a prepared grant sometime in December.
>> move approval.
>> discussion?
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
>> thank you very much.
>> move adjourn.
>> second.
>> the other items can wait?
>> yes.
>> all in favor?
that carries unanimously also.
