View captioned video.

Prior to the motion to recess for lunch, we had come to executive session.
this morning we announced the intention to carry into executive session item number 19, consider and take appropriate action regarding an amendment to chapter 82, Travis County code, to adopt temporary subdivision plat approval requirements regarding the availability and protection of ground water from the trinity group aquifers.
and we will go into executive session under the consultation with attorney exceptions to the open meetings act.
posted for executive session are item number 30, receive briefing from county attorney and authorize county attorney to accept, reject or counter settlement offer and take appropriate action in elida garza versus Travis County's transportation and natural resources department.
consultation with attorney exception.
31, consider and take appropriate action regarding lease agreements at 700 lavaca with the following: a, bruce a.
lipshy, dba lipshy and escamilla, and b, capital area courters, and 31 will be taken into executive session under the consultation with attorney and real property exceptions.
and 32, receive briefing, consider settlement offer and take appropriate action regarding claims by alicia perez in twccrd charge number 1 a 20200 and eeoc charge number 31 c 2010-0267 c.
we'll discuss these items in executive session but will return to open court before taking any action.

We have returned from executive session where we discussed the four items that we announced beginning with item number 19, the matter involving an amendment to chapter 82 and the temporary subdivision plat approval requirements regarding availability and protection of ground water from the trinity group aquifers.
we did discuss with legal language that we think would be appropriate for our consideration next week.
we indicated to the residents here this morning that we would repost this on our 19th of October agenda for appropriate action.
and so we discussed legal sharing information with the interested residents who came this morning and I guess we received email or other communication over the last few days.
and so with those directions, I guess any further action today?
just that if -- if after receipt of that revised language residents have inputted, they can provide that to mr. Nuchols or the Commissioners court and come to our meeting, next Tuesday, October 19th.
we also discussed item number 30, the matter involving the settlement offer from ms. Garza and they are claim against Travis County t.n.r.
any motion?
no action is as good as unfavorable.
31, we discussed two leases at 700 lavaca.
we did basically indicate the need to think about the lease of bruce a.
lipshy and it will be back on the court's agenda next week.
and I move that we take no action on 31 b, capital area contractors, inc, lease.

>> second.

>> discussion, b?
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
and on 32, we did discuss that matter with legal and gave some directions for legal to communicate with representatives at the eeoc, and in my view no further action required today.

>> right.

>> that being the case, there is no further action by the Commissioners court.

>> move we adjourn.

>> second.

>> all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
