>> > we've returned from executive session. We discussed three of the five items announced so we'll have to reconvene in executive session this afternoon and we have a couple of open court items to discuss as well. I move that we recess until 2:00 p.m.

>> second.

>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.

>> i guess we may as well finish executive session since i don't see mr. Eckstein here. There were two items that we not discuss so let's announce them and when we return mr. Eckstein will be here and we'll take the other items. Number 30, consider and take appropriate action regarding the purchase of approximately 14.839 acres of land in northwest travis county in connection with the balcones canyonlands conservation plan. That will be taken under the consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act, and 31, receive briefing with regard to statutes governing collection and processing of toll road fines and fees including court hearings and take appropriate action. Consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act. And we did have a gentleman here this morning from the txdot who wanted to know if we had questions for him. And as far as i know we do not have questions and he's not around this afternoon, right? Okay. So we will discuss these two items in executive session but will return to open court before taking any action.

>> we have returned from executive session where we discussed the -- two items we did not get to this morning so five items in all. 27 is the matter involving a claim filed by alicia perez. I move that we inject the offer to settle.

>> second.

>> is that an offer or counter offer? If you have no monetary value do you want to extend a rejection so it would be a counteroffer.

>> discussion on the motion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Since we were back and forth a now times i wondered if that was a counter we received from her.

>> no.

>> 28 is the matter involving the lawsuit by llc, inc and glenn williams against mr. Bahrami and the county sheriff. We did get an update today and it will be back on the court's agenda if necessary. The matter is set for hearing later this month.

>> should we direct the county attorney's office and whoever else to take a look at the policies and review the sexually oriented policies?

>> that's a good idea. I second the motion.

>> i don't know that we're posted to do that, however, we could give direction that appropriate county staff should go ahead and look for court review at the appropriate time. Time. How is that. 29, the matter of the notice of intent to sue for violations of the endangers species act. We talked about various steps that need to be done by staff and so i think today we simply indicate that it will be put back on the court's agenda at the appropriate time in the future. No other formal action required today. 30, the matter involving the potential purchase of 14.839 acres in northwest travis county for the bccp.

>> i move we make an offer of 400,000 for the purchase of this property.

>> second? Discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. 31 was a briefing on on recently enacted statute by the state regarding the collection and processing of toll road fines and fees including hearings in the j.p. Courts, and county staff had been working on this matter with the appropriate txdot and toll road authorities and so they will keep doing that. And when it's time for the commissioners court to take formal action, we will do that. Anything in addition to that, mr. Lawyer?

>> no, sir.

>> mr. Lawyer says no, sir so that means we don't need to take any action on that item today.
