>> 24, consider and take appropriate action on an interlocal agreement between travis county and the city of austin to provide booking services for the austin police department.

>> i can never tell when you all are going to show up in onsuit or not.

>> neither do we. I thought this was a consent item so excuse my dress, please. There's just a slight revision to -- roger jeffries, executive manager of justice and public safety. I'm here with major darrin long and major mark from the travis county sheriff's office. The piece of paper i just handed you just had minor revisions. I marked them on the second page. Nothing substantive. If you would like, we could go through the cost model or i could just cut to the chase and tell you that we have completed negotiations with the city of austin and the austin police department. The county will be reimbursed $5,895,538 for central booking services for austin police department arrestees. That is a 6.79% increase over f.y. 10, which was 5,520, $923. There is no substantive program changes this year other than the addition of the phlebotome services which were negotiated last summer. This is the last year of this particular agreement and in f.y. 12 we will be negotiating a new agreement and i think there's significant interest in a change by both the county and the city in the way the booking services are billed and we'll be negotiating with him beginning in october of this year. We anticipate it's going to be challenging.

>> we're up to it.

>> annually the issue of us charging other smaller municipalities for booking services seems to come up.

>> yes, sir.

>> that's still an issue?

>> they -- the city of austin keeps raising that. We have actually looked at that in the past. It would probably -- well, it would cost more to process invoices from other locations and implement all the other jurisdictions that we would actually get back in revenue from them. There's a -- most of the bookings are austin police department and the sheriff's office. There's just a smaller significant -- or insignificant portion that are other locations and it would cost probably more to process that than we would get back.

>> move approval of the proposed interlocal agreement.

>> second.

>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Thank you all very much.

>> thank you.

>> thank you. 27, approve the purchase of cabling requirements associated with or connecting to the greater austin area telecommunications network -- no, commissioner eckhardt -- did we?

>> we went back and picked it up.

>> all right.

>> you are more efficient than you knew.
