Executive Session
>> miss porter, does that bring us to executive session?
>> it does.
>> did we do 37?
>> 37 we need a legal briefing. 37 is to approve interlocal agreement with austin-travis county integral care for psychiatric services. Will go into executive session under consultation with attorney. 49 we were asked to postpone until next week. 50, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action regarding october 28, 2010 evidenciary hearing on creation of a groundwater conservation district for the part of the hill country priority groundwater management area in travis, hays and comal counties. State office of administrative hearings docket number 582-10-5643. Texas commission on environmental quality docket number 2010-1040-mis. Consultation with attorney. Exception. We were asked to pull 51, pull 51 until further research has been done. And 52, that's not the last one because we've been asked to take a-2 into into executive session too. But 52 is to receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action regarding responsibility for road maintenance within or adjacent to village of creedmore, consultation with attorney. A-2, consider and take appropriate action on issues regarding the lease and space for travis county district attorney at 700 lavaca, consultation with attorney and real property exceptions to the open meetings act. We'll discuss these matters in executive session, but will return to open court before taking any action.
37, matter involving integral care and the psychiatric service with them. In my view no action today. We'll have it back on the court's agenda next week and ask legal to come up with a final document consistent with the agreement that we apparently have reached. Item 50, the matter involving the tceq hearing.
>> move that we direct the county attorney to seek party status for the travis county commissioners' court for the october 28th evidenciary hearing on the groundwater conservation district.
>> second. Travis county may be better, we were told late.
>> travis county. Direct c-14-to seek party -- county attorney to seek party status for travis county.
>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. 52 is the matter involving a little dispute with the village of creedmore regarding the maintenance of certain roads and whether or not they were annexed. I move that we authorize the county judge to send an appropriate letter to the mayor and city council setting forth the county's position. And that we rely on legal's interpretation of the law in putting that -- a letter together and that the bottom line be that we disagree with them and ask them to meet with us so we can try to work out our differences. I guess i should put in this motion that the county will go out and mow dangerous intersections that desperately need mowing because of serious safety issues and that we send the vel laj of creedmore -- village of creedmore a bill for 50% of the cost of billing and we indicate other steps that county may be forced to take if this matter is not satisfactorily resolved.
>> second.
>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Mr. Knuckles, were you about to ask something? Colleagues, that does it for the day.
>> move adjourn.
>> a-2?
>> there's no action on it, right?
>> a-2.
>> no action.
>> we did get a briefing, but no action. Thank you. Commissioner huber moves adjournment? Seconded by commissioner davis. All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
