Number 1 is a public hearing to receive comments regarding a request to authorize the filing of an instrument to vacate a five foot wide public utility and drainage easement located along the northwest side lot line of lot 13a within the amended plat of lots 12 and 13, block 84, austin lake hills, section 3, a subdivision in precinct 3.

>> good morning, anna bolin, travis county t.n.r. The purpose of this agenda item is to vacate a five foot wide public utility easement and a drainage easement. So that the improvements that are already in place won't encroach into the easements. Well, whenever there's a drainage easement, the applicant gives us information from their engineer, which we review, to see whether or not the easement is required and the engineer -- and our staff both -- concluded that that drainage easement was not necessary. When there's a public utility easement that's being proposed to be vacated, they have to talk to the local utility providers to see if they need the easement. And they -- the utility providers did not indicate that they needed the easement. So we are recommending this vacation item.
