View captioned video.

Citizens communication is next. This item gives residents an opportunity to address the court on any. Anymatter not on the agenda for up to three minutes. Kenneth snyder, gus pena second, ronnie reeferseed third.

>> hi, my name is kenneth snyder, north ridge acres subdivision, third world city. I done put a copy up there on your desk, judge. Each one of y'all got one of these, also the water development board in austin. I went up there, thursday, they got a copy of this and everything. You always saying fix it up, fix it up. No way to fix it. This has been going on since 1996 when they finally got is this out and everything. I got this from the health department the other day. We cannot fix our problem. We need urgent need. Just like i said on here. It's a very urgent -- from -- from

>> [indiscernible] rolled out and everything. It needs to take -- first class on it and everything. We need to get the sewer out there desperately. I am hoping that you all can work with austin. I will fax it to -- the number on there, the city of austin. And she faxed it on. She said. But i'm going to city council thursday and i'm going to hand this all of there to them. Just like the governor's office, they couldn't believe when i showed them this here. And -- and it's -- they said how come they can't get grants to work and everything. The thing about it is, the county has to work together with the city of austin. Both counties have to work together with the city of austin and fix the problem is the only thing that i can figure. If you have grants out there, they are not working, shut the grants off and save all of the money for administration. The administration make all of the big bucks and everything, we ain't getting anywhere. Habitat and stuff like that, building houses for people. If i call what she said you have to earn 35,000 to get into it. If they can earn 35,000, i think they can buy a house just about anywhere if they have 35,000 coming in there in that area. The thing of it, you put somebody in the house they ain't got no income, getting 6 or $700 from social security and pay taxes at the end of the year of about 3 or $4,000 to the city of austin, whatever, they are going to go back on the street again anyway. But all -- we have got placed out there, they can put about another 400 homes out there, easy. Trailer house, cheapest things to live in. Once we get this out of the area. Get the detention ponds out of the areas instead of having cesspools out there in the front yard having dead animals like you see on my shirt and everything. I can't understand. The judge told nettie he was going to put the sewer and water at the same time that's what he wanted to do. I'm sure that he did want to do it. But the money crunches and everything. We started this here 20 years ago, there have would have been enough money to get us the water deal, every year it goes up. I'm going to fight it no matter what until we get something done out there. It's getting worser and worser every day. I'm seeing birds out there now dying, but i can't get close enough to get pictures of 'em. The county out there to check stuff and everything and those guys digging ditch, they don't know anything about what to look for. And like i told them, the water table is right there in front of you, like on 36 the other day, the water table is right there. When that water rises up, it's a cesspool, it stinks out there. And i -- i just don't know what to do. Thank you.

>> thank you, mr. Snyder.

>> good morning, gus pena, first and foremost, the -- the thing that's really affecting the people right now, among other things are property values, property taxes, we know that property values are going down, property taxes are increasing. A lot of people are -- are losing their homes or businesses due to increased taxes. Please educate the taxpayers on what they can do, the alternative measures such as protesting, et cetera, maybe they can find that an alternative measure to paying high taxes. No cuts in funding for summer job programs for the youth, senior citizens programs. This is alluding to the budgetary process. Social service agencies, are in need of funding. I know that we have a -- we have a lot of lack of funding here at the county and the city, but please people rely on these agencies to maintain their quality of life for theirselves and families and children and senior citizens. Judge, i want to thank you, your staff, commissioner ron daistles, your staff and -- davis, your staff, commissioner eckhardt, you and your assistant peter for working on the issue about why senior citizens on medicare are being denied access and dental services. Mr. Salazar also called mr. Sander son who was told by dolores the appointment clerk at south austin dental clinic that you are not eligible. We are trying to find out exactly what the parameters are, the regs, policies and whatever. That is really -- really keeping these senior citizens from being -- are told that they are no longer eligible. Please if you can have mrs. Salazar at the appropriate time make comments i would appreciate it. Housing, you heard about this homeless family up on the billboard, a lot of people made donations through the web or whatever, net. Let me tell you something, people, when you are home lrks not only do you need a place to stay, but you need wrap around services to make sure that you can maintain your quality of life in a home, trailer, whatever, but also given counseling and job opportunities. Other than that, if you are just living on like the prior speaker said disability or check whatever, it's not going to get it. You had better find out what's going on, on these agencies that provide services because i want to know what's really going down. We are losing a lot of people to the streets, families that don't serve people in motels cannot get the wrap around service that's they need to maintain a good quality of life. Again, veteran, please appreciate the veterans that nobody wants to go to war. Somebody has to fight for our freedom, safety and democracy. Not only of our country but other country, country also. I will leave it at that. The society's worth is measured by its treatment of the less fortunate. I said this back in 1977 at the school board meeting, also when mayor

>> [indiscernible] was the mayor, continue to say to every administration here also back before judge aleshire, i want to thank you all for the hard work, budgetary process very important, quality of life of people very important. Please keep up the good work and thank you all very much, judge. Thank you.

>> thank you, mr. Pena.

>> thank you.

>> mr. Reeferseed.

>> thank you, judge, i'm ronnie

>> [inhale] reeferseed, screaming hey kids, you have got to love your life right now. Because with that first hit off a cigarette or a joint or a swig of alcohol it's over, hello adult world of bills and obligations and instead let us all so-called grownups take charge right now to help save our once proud constitutional republic. That means that we almost do more. No what are the what you do now do more to help solve the gulf fiasco with less government. Get uncle sam off the boat so they start listening to the real pros who knew it was bound to fail with salt water used as the sealant instead of heavy duty sludge as a sealant. By the way, the toxic sludge that we all pay for to pal polluted our tap water, fluoride, is toxic chemical waste from aluminum plants, et cetera. This ingestion of any fluoride is banned. Just read your toothpaste label, with warning labels they tell you call the poison control center if you happen to swallow a tiny bit of this stuff. Curiously these days it's marketed as a product for kids. Imagine, premed indicated poisoning. In a multi-level terminator. Poison fluoride was used in nazi concentration camps, people. I'm not making this up. I know this is all hard to grasp. We have been hypnotized for years. It's not our fault, but we have to snap out of it. Face reality. Act accordingly is my motto. Sorry, reality is not pretty, mind boggling bizarre about how evil these plans are, read textbooks written by sign czar john holdrin, eco science that clear delineates a means to an end. Human population reduction by using tainted vaccine was hid convenient viruses, die diabolica, ongoing chemical warfare, msg, mercury laden corn syrup. On and on. Sadly com placement joe six pack is too busy getting by to usually bother to deal with this chaos, sorry charles lee, jenny, joe, we need to call, we need to call. The time is now, we need to call congress at (202)224-2131, call the so-called president barrack obama or call triple a 3221414 for weekly update from five year veteran, husband, long time scholar and defender of our sacred constitution ob/gyn doctor texan representative in the house ron paul, www.ronpaul.org, and www.randpaul2010.com. Examine infowars.com, ongoing cycle of broadcast, each day's shoavment listen to it, 11:00 to 3:00 weekdays, 4:00 to 6:00 on sundays, thank you very much.

>> thank you, mr. Reeferseed.

>> morris priest.

>> thank you, judge, commissioners, morris priest speaking on my own behalf. I was glad that senior elder care didn't join with the meals on wheels program because die believe both of those organizations have different values and principles and services that they render and i think that was a good decision by family elder care not to join with them. We also have a situation out here and we have seen this before two years ago, juneteenth, the -- the rv park that was proposed out on herald court, the citizens were totally opposed to in in community as they are still with this new venture which is obviously from the beginning it's dead on arrival with this situation with the federal transit and f.a.a. Administration. I think that when we look at this situation with some of these community services, even this last item that we had this morning, with habitat for humanity, i think that our elected officials are sometimes out of touch with the reality of the neighborhoods concerns and issues that they have with this items and i would encourage you to listen to the people when they come and speak, such as the people that spoke, the vast majority were opposed to not only txi and habitat for humanity in that area, but they were also, you know, they were the majority would have chosen habitat over a txi, but they were both opposed to both of those things and it seems like our elected officials are just totally out of touch with their constituents, especially in transportation issues. We see -- we see commissioners huber and die want to put this on the record that i didn't think that -- i did think it was a very underhanded thing for this court to do to appoint mayor mills just prior to a vote. We have two commissioners, well, two votes, mayor mills and commissioner huber and that this last meeting we find that these votes could affect funding for four other counties in the area. And -- and i think that, you know, of course the vote hasn't been cast yet. I do think in the future there should be a more transparent process for picking people on the cam pa or metro board. There have been many people that have asked me if i would be on the board and i would, i also know that the odds of that happening is about like me making the sun come up this morning. I may actually have a better chance of doing that. But i have -- i have been involved in the process of -- of far more than anyone on the court and dating back to 2004 i have been speaking at the meetings. I have worked on the federal level, state level. County level or -- or the texas transportation -- transportation commission meetings, federal listening sessions, too numerous things, venues, capitol, select committee, testimonies, some that requested -- that were requested of me to give and so i just think that our transportation issues need to be looked at. And concerns in the neighborhood

>> [buzzer sounding] should be addressed and i think that i would hope that you all would get in contact more with your constituents. Thank you.

>> thank you, mr. Priest.

>> thank u.

>> those are the four residents who signed in under citizens communication this morning.
