Now let's call to order the travis county housing finance corporation item no. 1. Consider and take appropriate action on request to approve payment to travis county for accounting and administrative services.

>> good afternoon, harvey davis, manager of the corporation. And last november, the corporation's paid the county for the -- for the accounting and administrative work, $228,718. Which was a -- subsequently found out was short by $649.

>> good try, mr. Davis.

>> [laughter]

>> and -- and so i'm asking the board to approve paying the -- the additional $649 so that we -- we are in sync with the county's budget.

>> move approval.

>> second.

>> any discussion? $649.

>> yes, sir.

>> no cents.

>> no cents.

>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Now we can proceed with a clear conscience.

>> that's right.

>> number 2. Consider and take appropriate action on request to approve a letter to the texas department of housing and community affairs requesting an extension of the 100%-funds-committed deadline of the neighborhood stabilization program from may 31, 2010 to july 31, 2010.

>> and this -- this request is so that we can proceed to obligate additional funds of this grant. We have -- i think since the tax credit -- the home tax credit expired at the end of april. That caused a lot of -- of interest and applications for our neighborhood stabilization program. So we have a lot of people in the pipeline and if we -- so we need additional time to get them to the obligated state so these people can be able to use the neighborhood stabilization funds.

>> okay.

>> and so we have -- we are optimistic that the state will grant this extension until july 31st.

>> move approval.

>> second.

>> questions? Does the motion also include authorization for the president of the corporation to sign this letter to -- to the h.u.d. People?

>> the texas department of housing and community affairs.

>> hca people.

>> yes, sir.
