14. Consider and take appropriate action on the appointment of alternates for the travis county appointments to the capital area metropolitan planning organization (campo) transportation policy board. Any discussion?

>> i believe we submitted memos listing our -- our -- our candidates. I mean our proxy. I have one for -- for jeff mill that's i know was sent to your office and i have mine. Do we need to read these into the record?

>> yeah, i think that would probably be good. I guess my question is when i read that provision, my thinking was if i were going to miss a meeting, i could appoint an alternate for that meeting, as long as i did it in writing before the meeting. If it's delivered to the -- to the -- i saw that and i read it.

>> they have to be authorized by the court.

>> they have to be authorized by the court in advance.

>> uh-huh.

>> okay. So the only thing left, i believe, is -- is to have your designation as well, judge.

>> hum. So where are we getting the -- okay. B is what we're looking at?

>> uh-huh.

>> okay. Why don't we read the others into the record, by the time we got done with that i will have mine done

>> [laughter]

>> i think we are all just reading each other's into the record.

>> i would like the following people an pointed as alternates for me. Commissioner sarah eckhardt, jeff mills, Sunset Valley mayor, and judge biscoe, travis county.

>> what are you going to do? Do you have to have a separate motion for each one of them.

>> i think one motion cover all of them.

>> covering all of them will be sufficient. Okay, thank you.

>> jeff mills recommends

>> [indiscernible] i ask that the commissioners appoint the following people as alternates for me, commissioner sarah eckhardt, commissioner sarah huber and county judge sam biscoe.

>> i had in mind -- essentially we are duplicating here, judge sam biscoe, karen huber, mayor jeff mills or his successors, the travis county appointee to the campo policy board. I did add councilmember chris riley just in case some emergency was happening with the county and none of us were there --

>> forethought.

>> but it could be --

>> i should add another as well, might not be a bad idea.

>> it could be any city council representative on campo, i just -- picked one in the event that something was happening at the county and we were all tied up.

>> mine would be commissioner eckhardt, one and commissioner huber, two. Leave it at that. I think the rest of the policy board needs to know about b there. In the past i don't think that's been done.

>> it's been fully understood, yeah.

>> i agree. That's a good point.

>> okay.

>> move approval.

>> so i'm doing two.

>> okay.

>> second.

>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Now, we will be fully compliant. I believe that does it for today, y'all.

>> move adjourn.

>> second.

>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous
